"There's white fang stuff hidden all around town." Crimson said, "it's impossible to notice if you don't know what you're looking for, but they've got a really strong foot hold here. They're everywhere."
"Well that's just wonderful..." Rose exclaimed as she threw her arms up in exasperation, "are we really gonna take on the most powerful criminal organization of our time."
I nodded and Rose threw herself back on her bed and held back another sigh scream.
"Anyways...if what I remember from when I was younger, they might be having a meeting tonight, and I think I know where..." Crimson continued, "that is, if the markings around town are correct."
"So what you're saying is we can get into that meeting and find out what they're planning?" I asked, excited but uncertain.
"No, YOU can't." She answered, "but I can, and Mags over here can. We can go into the meeting as new recruits and see what's up with their plans."
"You up for that Maggie?" I asked, uncertain if she'd be willing to put herself in such a tense and potentially dangerous situation.
Maggie just shrugged it off and answered, "obviously. If it means helping out, I'll do it."
"So it's settled..." Crimson said, "we wait for night and see exactly what they're doing."
"Wait Crimson." Rose said, "you're completely cool with growing yourself in with our problems?"
"I'm a huntress too aren't I?" She asked rhetorically, "it's fine. I want to do this. Now c'mon. Let's head down and get ready. All you can stay across the street as Maggie and I head in there."
"Sounds good." Bondi said as she opened the door for Crimson, and then followed her out. We all soon followed suit.(I know I haven't done a lot of this but I kind of need to start so I can add to the story, so expect more of this)
Magnolia's POV
"You're sure this is the place?" I asked crimson as I looked around nervously and hesitantly followed her.
"Of course it is did you not see the other Faunus?" She replied, slightly sassily, "we just gotta talk to the to the man at the front of the alley and he'll let us in. It'll all be cool."
Crimson and I walked out from around the corner. I tried to mimic her confidence and spunk, but it didn't quite work. I was sure Crimson could talk her way out of it if someone said anything though.
"Hello ladies." The man said, and we gave him our best smiles, which on Crimson looked a little vicious with the whole sharp teeth thing she had, "new recruits?" We nodded and he let out a little grin, as if he was excited.
"Take these..." he said and he handed us masks of what looked like Grimm, "and go down to your right. Someone will show you into the crowd from there." We both gave him a thank you smile and nod and walked on by. We followed the alley down the right.
"Grimm masks?" I asked crimson as we walked down.
"It's symbolic or something." She explained, "they call us monsters, so we dress like them. Or something. I'm not sure honestly. It's been awhile, I might need a refresher course." She laughed at her joke, but I was too stressed to even think of laughing.
Someone came and directed us into a crowd of newcomers, and it took all my will not to trip from nerves. I slowed my breathing down to a normal rate and tried not ignore the potential danger, and it worked, but then Crimson suddenly gasped in shock.
"No...it can't be..." she said, as she squinted towards the back right of the stage, "my dad. He's here...the big guy in the back..."
"Wait...? That's your dad?" I asked in shock, "that's the guy who attacked us at the docks and Ember at the dust store..."
"Huh..." she said with a slight chuckle, "it's a small world. Guess the hooded guy next to him was there too?"
"Yep..." I answered, "the whole gangs here...Sun and Blake too apparently...I guess we're not the only ones with this idea..."
"Let's hope they don't muck this up then..."
"Oh don't worry...we'll probably find our own way to do that..." I joked with a nervous laughter.
"Just shut up and listen..." Crimson said sharply as she motioned towards and important looking guy on the stage. He was standing in front of something huge with a tarp over it, but I tried not to let that bother me.
"Thank you all for coming." The man started, "for those of us that are new, id like to introduce a special comrade of ours. I can assure you, he is the cure to gaining what we've fought for for so long."
Just then the notorious criminal Roman Torchwick stepped onto the stage. He was met by boos and shouts, all because he was a human. If that's what these people are like to a human trying to help them, I'd hate to see them around those that aren't.
Someone in the crowd asked why a human would be here, so naturally torchwick went on a long spiel about humans being the worst, and that we're all headed towards a common goal, or at least those of us who actually want to be here. Just as he ended his speech, the tarp flew back, uncovering one of the new mech's created by the Atlesian army. I gulped down my fear and pretended to be excited.
"Well that looks like a joy to fight against..." Crimson muttered low enough so only I could hear her, and I let out a whimper of agreeance.
"Now many of your brothers have moved to our operation in the southeast." Torchwick continued.
"Not my brothers...but I'll have to see if I can pay them a visit..." Crimson muttered again to me.
Torchwick eventually concluded his speech and gave the stage back to the other white fang guy. He told all new recruits to come forward, and I shot Crimson a quick look of nervousness, but she had a face that told me just to go along with it, so I did, but I noticed Sun and Blake were a little more hesitant to move up.
Once we got up forward, I noticed Sun and Blake tense up, and I looked over at Torchwick and noticed he was squinting at them suspiciously. I remembered that night at the docks, while we were busy on our side, they were fighting Torchwick. I could feel that something would happen, I just didn't know what.
"Get ready to do something..." I muttered to Crimson before I started to push my way up in the crowd, closer to Sun and Blake. Before I could make it to them I noticed Blake look over to Sun before she pulled out Gambol Shroud and shot out the fuse box.
I watched Torchwick blindly stumble around for a second before I noticed the overwhelming force moving towards Sun and Blake. I quickly pulled my gun out of its holster and shot at the 2 closest to them. All of a sudden I was pulled back and I saw crimson swing her axe around and hit a row of goons like they were a baseball on a tee.
I saw Sun and Blake dive out the window, so I pulled Crimson away, back towards the way we came in. There was no other exit I saw that wasn't behind dozens of people. Someone tried to swing their arms at us, but I slid underneath on my knees, while Crimson jumped over and kicked his head on the way by. Before we got out I noticed Torchwick getting into the mech.
"I thought you said we'd be the ones to mess it up!" Crimson shouted as we sprinted out.
