Rita impressed everyone with her presentation. She was applauded by loud cheers and claps.
After presentation, she went back to her desk.She was busy working on a project, when she saw Raj's reflection on laptop screen. She turned around.
"So, star of the day..I must say you are not an ordinary girl because you actually impressed my father..I mean...theVinay Lalwani. Even I couldn't succeed at that despite being his son." He complimented.
"No....it's nothing like that. You know.. you are being too kind." She said before turning off her laptop and getting up from the chair.
"Going somewhere?" Raj inquired.
"Yeah.....actually I haven't brought my lunch today. So...I am going outside to eat something." She answered while placing her bag on shoulder.
"Would you mind if I tag along?" He asked.
"Umm..sure...but, I have is one condition." She smirked.
"And that would be....?" He played along.
"Since, my presentation got successful today...so today's lunch is my treat for you. And that's why you will not pay...and I don't want to argue about it. Think like it's my small token of thanks for helping me." She smiled.
"Hmm...that was cleaver. I would surely have told no to your condition...but...not today, obviously because its your day. But wait for the day when I will take you out with me, and that day you will have to listen to me." He winked.

Her heart fluttered on thought that he wanted to ask her out. But.... immediately she reminded herself that she was yet not ready for any new attachments... especially when Raj was person in question, for whom she had started to develop a feeling even when she tried not to.
"That we will see when time will come...but for now let's go. I am starving." Rita said clutching her stomach as they both walked out of the building.
