"Isabella West, do you take this woman, Ariel Young, to be your lawfully wedded wife?" Fred asked, standing in front of the white fountain. He stood, presiding over the marriage of Isabella and Ariel. So far, no police.
"I do." Isabella said, choking down her tears.
"And do you, Ariel Young, take this woman, Isabella West, to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do."
"Then, by the power vested in me, as we stand here breaking a law to show the true meaning and power of true love, I now pronounce you, spouses. Ariel Young and Isabella Young. You may kiss the bride."
"Which one?" Isabella joked. Ariel smirked, threw her bouquet behind her and kissed Isabella on the lips, as they both felt nothing but passion. Their friends stood up and cheered loudly, feeling safe knowing no police were showing up. The day went by smoothly, with no police interference, whatsoever. Isabella and Ariel couldn't be happier.

"Gay rights riots continue to rage on through not just our city, but all across America. As we get close to the next elections, the gay rights riots keep rising...."
"Police say the group began smashing windows and even breaking the windows of several police cars. All were arrested, but none were charged and they were all released. However, they say that they have done so many peaceful protests that weren't working, so this was the only chance they had...."
"It has been said that the Missouri group Hands For Love might be engaging in some violent protests as well...."
"No one's listening when we speak softly. But, when we start speaking louder, we look like the "bad guys." Where is the logic in that? All we want is some freedom, a small bit of freedom in our lives."

--------

"We won't stop, until you stop harassing us!" Ariel cried, leading the protest. She stood proud and tall on top of a police car, shouting at the crowd below. They were ready to fight back. Ariel jumped down from the car, as everyone picked up stones, and began smashing windows, and patrol car windows. The cops were nearly there in an instant. They were about ten seconds away from shooting them, but they tried their best to hold it back. They knew that this was their last resort. They said they were going to try and remain peaceful, but their voices were never heard, so what choice did they have? Isabella picked up a rock and threw it at a police car, as the windows shattered. The police were standing there, trying to figure out what to do. They then got the bright idea to use tear gas on them. Suddenly, a group of middle school students came running down the streets, and made a human chain, blockading the community, and keeping them away from the police, who had every intent to hurt them. The police were about to shoot the students, when elementary school students came walking out. They were scared of the police- more of their intentions of hurting the community than the cops themselves. They held hands and made a human chain down their street, locking the police in the same street as the community. Soon, high school students began showing up, and some teachers too. Ariel and the others stopped the violent protest, as they watched in amazement at the spectacle that was taking place. The community also held hands. The police didn't know what to do. Suddenly, the people in the houses surrounding the street began walking out and joined in on the human chain. It seemed as though the city of Missouri supported them. The police shouted at the students to get out of the way. None of them moved. They stood strong and proud. They didn't move, speak or shout. They stood, like a tall, brave wall. They stood, waiting for the cops to go home. Eventually, they did. The chain broke, as everyone went home, proud of what had taken place.

"Who?" Ariel asked, pouring her morning coffee into her coffee mug. She walked towards Fred who was reading the newspaper to see who Greedman's presidential opponent was. It was a man named Henry A. Novel. He used to live in Canada and believed the whole ban on gay rights thing to be an abuse of power.
"He has to win."
"I know. We're going to have to start rallying at the voting locations."
"Yes. We must get Greedman out of office if it's the last thing we do."
"We're going to have to do our best."
"We always have and we always will."
