Chapter 15

2 years later.....

Isabella walked across the street, trying to make her way back home after work. She carried a black work bag on her shoulder and a cup of coffee in the other. She occasionally took a few sips, since she was trying to get home. She finally spotted her house. She pulled our her keys, which rested in her pocket. She unlocked the door and stepped inside.

"Mommy!" Cried a little girl. Isabella's adopted daughter Ashley came running up to her. Isabella bent down and hugged Ashley. Another little girl came running towards Isabella. Her other daughter, Terra, hugged her mother tightly.

"How was school?"

"Good. I made a new friend mommy!"

"Oh, what's their name?"

"Sarah. She has two mommy's too!"

"Really? That's really cool."

"Yeah!" Terra and Ashley ran back into the living room. Ariel came walking out, adjusting the orange framed glasses on her face.

"Welcome home." Ariel said, hugging Isabella and kissing her on the lips. She walked her into the kitchen.

"I was just making some brownies. They're cooling right now. Girls! The brownies are done!" Ariel called, as she looked towards the living room. She pulled out four plates, and set two brownies on each. She handed Ashley and Terra their plates.

"Thank you, mommy!"

"Thanks, mom!" They chirped as they ran back into the living room.

"What's the occasion?"

"Well, Ashley and Terra got really good grades and their 3rd grade teacher said she's really proud of them."

"Aw."

"Not only that, but this came in the mail for you." Ariel said, handing Isabella a sealed envelope. 

"Where's it from?"

"I don't know. I didn't read it."

"Okay." Isabella replied, opening the letter. She unfolded it and began to read the letter.

"Dear Isabella Young, I wanted to personally reach out to you and say thank you for creating "Hands For Love." The simple fact that you wished to help young teenagers and children who were kicked mercilessly out of their homes warms my heart. I'm glad you care about them. I simply wanted to reach out to you and say thank you. I hope the future is bright for you. Sincerely, Henry A. Novel."

WHERE ARE THEY NOW?

ARIEL AND ISABELLA YOUNG

Ariel and Isabella remain in Missouri, continuing to work with Hands For Love. They have reached out to other small organizations and helped them rise to the top as well. Ariel works as a substitute teacher at a nearby elementary school and Isabella works as a journalist for their local newspaper. Ariel and Isabella adopted two little girls named Terra and Ashley, who are currently 9 years old.

FRED AND DEAN BOTCHER

Fred and Dean were happily married in Missouri, and continue to work with Hands For Love. Fred works as a police officer, and Dean works as a school counselor. They both help other organizations, but they mainly stick with Hands For Love. They recently adopted a 7 year old boy named Jack, and they are planning on adopting another child very soon.

BANDA AND MINA SELZAE

Banda and Mina were married in Florida while taking a small vacation there. They came back to Missouri and moved into a nice home. Mina works as a manager for a small hotel, and Banda works as a part-time violinist, playing at different venues around Missouri. The two recently adopted 8 year old Ami and 10 year old Vincent, and they plan to take another family trip together.

ZIGGY TREAD AND ALEXIS MARGE

Ziggy recently began dating Alexis Marge, a young woman she met at a small park. Ziggy is still unable to receive a sex change, but she is hopeful. Ziggy and Alexis have been dating for 4 months, and Ziggy is getting ready to pop the question. Ziggy works as an animator and has animated several films. Alexis currently holds a job as a waitress, but her dream job is to work as an actress. Ziggy is planning on helping Alexis with that.

PAIGE TREAD AND MARK TYBIA

Paige recently began dating Mark Tybia, who she met at a local nature center. Paige and Mark have been dating for 5 months, and Mark is getting ready to ask her to marry him. Paige holds a job as a judge, and has settled a total of 39 cases so far. Mark holds a job as a gym trainer, and he plans on keeping said job. Paige and Mark are both trying to help Ziggy raise enough money to receive a sex change, and they are keeping their hopes up.

EMILY RESTWAY

Emily Restway recently turned 23 years old and is attending college in Missouri. She plans to try and enter the fine arts field to achieve her dream of becoming a famous cellist.  Emily recently met up with her girlfriend, Askulia, and the two decided to move in together. Emily plans on moving to New York to pursue her dream. Askulia currently works as a health teacher at a nearby middle school, and once they  move to New York, plans to get a job as an actress.

SID CHRISLEY

Sid works as a photographer, taking pictures for many well known magazines and plans to move to Japan to get more experience. He also recently married the love of his life, Evan Tyler.

ALICE LOWE

Alice works as a fashion designer in New York, and will be moving to Paris, France. She is also dating Aria Johnson, who she plans on marrying once she moves to Paris.

GREG MACKENSTILE

Greg is working as a well-known author, and has published 14 different books. He is also married to Rick Bent.

MIRIAM BINMAN

Miriam works as a well-known artist, who has a lot of her artwork featured in multiple museums. She is also married to Allison May.

DOMINIC FLORET

Dominic was working as a well-known writer for documentaries. He had finished his biggest project, making a documentary all about the war he and his friends had faced. Sadly, Dominic passed away on December 12th 2022, when he died of cardiac arrest.
