Novel stood at the podium, as thousands of signs for him were raised.

"America is being snapped in half! What is happening to us!? When did we go from the "land of the free" to the "land of discrimination"? When did we decide people who were gay or transgender were like the very soil we walk upon? Why do we let it happen? We need to learn! Our youth must be taught that discrimination is unfair. I spoke to a little boy once who said discrimination is okay because it isn't bullying. Discrimination is hate. Hate is bullying. Bullying is not okay. When did we turn into fools and baboons by telling our kids "bullying isn't okay but discrimination is?" I want to fix America. Restore the American dream. Let people live freely and let them be whoever they want. Like I've said before, I do not fear Greedman. I do not hate Greedman. I dislike his views and ideologies, but that doesn't mean I should hate him. You can't fight hate with hate. I am not afraid of losing the election. I am in substantial fear of what will happen to the American people after the election, if I were to trounce it. You are my people. I do not see you as people, but as unique and inspiring individuals. That may seem sugar-coated and far-fetched, but I know that what I am saying is nothing but candor. If I were to prevail, I would immediately fix as much as possible in the laws banning gay rights, transgender freedom and every law he has put in place. I will do my best to fix America and be there for the American people, especially those who need me most. I am running for the presidency, and I love that. I might lose the election, and I love that."

"Perfect." Ariel said, giving Isabella a thumbs up, as she adjusted the "vote for Novel-help rebuild America" sign on the Hands For Love lawn. They high-fived each other, as they went back inside. The teens were laughing and discussing how they were finally old enough to vote. It had been 2 years since they came into Hands For Love, and they were 16 at the time. They knew they were going to vote for Novel, no matter what. They were sick of Greedman and what he had done. They were ready for change. They were also very nervous that Greedman still might win in the end.

"So, that's everything, right?"

"Looks like it." Isabella replied, looking over at Fred who had addressed her.

"I feel really sick." Dean said aloud.

"Why's that, honey?" Fred asked, hugging Dean.

"I'm worried that Greedman will win again."

"If he does, we'll just keep fighting back and holding out for as long as we can." Ariel replied, reading a book.

"Guys, look." Ziggy said, pointing at the TV. Another news report came on, bringing news that Greedman's votes were higher and he was getting close to winning a second term.

"This is such a cluster-fuck." Dean said.

"I know. It's like Novel was in the lead, and now Greedman is in the lead."

"We're going to have to do our best to get everyone to vote for Novel."

"Yup."

"We can only do so much, but it makes a huge difference."
