Realization

This chapter was supposed to be out yesterday, but I got tired, so it's out today. Life is stressing me out but I'm going to keep writing because if I don't then I get more stressed out. Thank you to all those who read and/or comment/vote. It means a lot so thank you.

Yuzuru pov.

Shoma was so warm and soft and looked so peaceful that I didn't want to wake him. He was curled up against me and my arms were wrapped around him. Our legs were tangled. I wouldn't mind waking up like this every day.

I looked up at the digital clock to see 7:44 and sighed. Practice starts at 9:40 so I should wake him up for breakfast. I kiss his head and whisper, "Shoma, wake up." No luck. I kiss him on the forehead but he didn't even stir. I kiss him on the cheek and he stirred a bit but still stayed asleep.

Should I kiss him on the lips?

They look really soft?

I decide to do it anyway and kiss him. His lips were chapped but still soft. Suddenly, I'm pulled closer and Shoma kissing back.

"Shoma, you're awake?" I pull back to see him still groggy and rubbing the sleep out of his eyes

"Ngh.... Of course, you did kiss me multiple times." Did he feel that? He didn't show any signs.

I pull him closer to me and kiss him on the forehead. "I wouldn't mind waking up to you every morning."

He giggled, "Me too"

"Come on, we have to get up. Practice starts at 9:00."

"Mhmm," he snuggled into my chest, "You sure we can't skip."

"I would like to but no. Come on, we have to get up."

"Fine." He turns around and leaves my arms. He gets out of bed to pick up the phone that I had tossed across the floor last night.

"Did you text Sota yet?" I ask, leaning on a pillow

"No, not yet." He pouted, "I still want to go to Ishigaki."

"After the season ends, I take you to a 5-star resort in Ishigaki and spoil you all you want."

He giggled, "Can we invite Sota?"

"No." I deadpanned

He laughed and crawls back into bed and kissed me. "Come on, I want to eat breakfast." He said as we broke apart and he left the bed again.

The Cricket Club wasn't as crowded at 10 in the morning and whiles me and Javi practice, Shoma is talking with Brian in his office.

"So how was it?" Javi asked out of nowhere

"How was what?"

"You know, yesterday with Shoma."

"Oh, it was nice."

"That's it?" He said somewhat disappointed

"We talked and had dinner," I had no idea what he wanted

"And nothing else?"

I pinned him against a headboard out of jealousy and really wanted to do him but my mom was in the next room so I couldn't. I can't tell Javi that.

"Uh..I told him that I'll take him on vacation to Ishigaki."

Javi looked almost impressed when I said that, "Wow, already planning your first trip as a couple."

Before I could respond, Shoma returns to the rink and I and Javi begin practice again.
