I'm so sorry for my late update. I had SATs and homework to do. But I do have somewhat sad and some happy news.

Let's start with sad. College Application season is starting so my plan to write a yuzusho royal au will be put on hold. I also won't be writing any major stories for the month of October and November and the first half of December. But I will still be reading so if any of you guys want to start writing, I highly encourage it, especially if it's Yuzusho. If you need me to beta read for you, do grammar check (in English), or you need someone to encourage you to update then I'm here.

Now on to happy news.
1. I will continue writing yuzusho. I will update one shot at least 2-3 times a month. Just give me prompts or it'll just end up being angst or smut.
2. I'm not a part of the FS fandom, but I still watch and love figure skating. Like I don't interact with a lot of people from it and I'm very content in my own little corner.
3. I'm a lot wiser from when I first started writing. I've learned to stand up for myself, cut off abusive relationships with some people, and how to diminish other people's power over me.
4. I am recovering from my depression at an amazing rate. I feel so great about myself and I'm very happy. I'm not out of the rabbit hole yet but I know I can get myself out. It's been 4-5 years of hell but my life has taken a wonderful turn.

Thank you so much for reading and commenting/voting

Yuzuru pov.

Shome woke up a week ago. He looked well. The colors have flowed back into his face. He can walk and the doctors have reported that physical therapy won't be necessary but he should take it easy. However, he is suffering from amnesia.

I was sitting there and tracing the shapes if his fingers. His hand was so small. Suddenly, his fingers started curling and wrapping around mine.

"Shoma!" I shot up and saw his eyes flicker. I immediately ran outside. "Nurse! Nurse! He's waking up!"

A couple nurses and a doctor ran in while I stood outside. It felt like hours before the doctors left. When I came back in, I saw that his breathing tube and mask had been detached. He had an IV still and he was still hooked up to some monitors, but he looked better. He looked alive.

The joy the welled up in my heart made my eyes misty. He was alive. Oh thank heaven above, he was alive. I rushed to his side.

"Shoma. Hi." I didn't know what to say. What do I say? What can I say? There was no manual for 'What to say when the love of your life wakes up from a coma'.

He stared at me wide-eyed. "Hanyu-senshu, what are you doing here?"

A part of me broke. Hanyu-senshu. Hanyu-senshu. It was always Yuzuru-san, or Yuzuru, or Yuzu. Hanyu-senshu was what he referred to me before we got together. Before we were even friends.

'Yuzuru, I want you to be prepared for this if it happens. When Shoma wakes up, he might not remember you or anything at all.' That's what Marianne said.

I gave him a smile. " I heard that you got hurt. It wouldn't do well if one of Japan's best skaters got hurt."

He looked confused then a flicker of sadness passed his eyes before he smiled at me. He still thinks that I don't remember him. I want to tell him that I do. I want to tell him everything. About how we're dating and how he stood up to his family. I want to take him home to Sendai with me. But I can't, not now at least.

Shoma's family had been mainly spending the rest of week with him. Mihoko dropped by from what I heard. Sota, Mao, Keiji, and Kanako did too. I stayed away though. It wasn't right for me to go and intrude on their time with him.
