In Our Blood

Chapter 2

My name is Lilith....Lilith Shysie. I guess i'm kinda your average know it all. Shy, quiet, intelligent.......creepy sometimes. I never really made a ton of friends when i was a child. I was always that one weirdo who stayed inside for studies. I am an only child so my family pressures me into getting good grades. They work at the hospital out of town, so i don't see them often.

I am in my senior year of highschool and im only 17. I got to skip a grade because of my intelligence. Odd thing is, is that i have been beginning to notice that a lot of the people in my school are acting strange. They've been telling the opposite gender that they smell good or they have little bite marks on some part of their body. They must have gotten bit by a snake or spider in the past.

Oh, some of my hobbies include reading, drawing, and.....well studying. I also sometimes work in the local bakery on saturdays and sundays. I work in the local cafe on weekdays after school gets out. My mom and dad moved me up to france from america when i was around 5, so i'm pretty fluent in a few different languages.

I should probably talk about my appearance. I have dark brownish black hair and i'm pale but not excessively paper white pale. One rare thing in my family is to have bi colored eyes. Which i actually have. I have a green left eye and a reddish brown right eye. But i guess that's about it....Oh! And i have heard lots of folklore about vampires living in my town. But i don't read that superstitious stuff.
