Chapter 12

I was so glad when dinner finished quickly. My anxiety had nearly made me break down until Ash tapped my shoulder, snapping me out of my thoughts. I was dreading to go home because i knew my parents wouldn't be there. But as soon as dinner was done, Ash's mother told me i could stay the night. I guess that wouldn't be too bad, considering i could just work on the project.

Soon Ash takes me back up to her room, where we sat on the floor facing each other. She had quite a concerned look on her face. "What happened at dinner?" she asked.
"I-Its just anxiety.. I-I've never been in a room full of vampires before... It can be a bit worrisome" I spoke out softly. She must have just noticed how soft my voice is cause she was a tiny bit shocked to notice it. "Don't be worried, as I said before, we don't drink human blood, You'll be fine." she says smiling. I let out a soft smile and stared at the floor, she soon stood up and walked over to her dresser. She suddenly turned towards me and tossed an outfit at me. "Come one, get dressed we're going out." she said, grabbing out a new outfit for herself. I looked up at her confused " what do you mean going out??? " i mumble quietly.
