In Our Blood

Chapter 7

After waiting a couple minutes of waiting for her to answer, I decided just to sit down. She seemed lonely. I pulled out a flask and took a short drink then handed it to her, "Want any?" she looked at me confused, I chuckled.

"Hey are you free tonight?" I asked, she glanced at me with a worried expression. She shrugs. I hear the bell go off and I got up and we left to our 3rd period class.

School ended quicker than I expected, during 4 period my teacher told us we had our first partner project, somehow Lilith and I got paired up. I left out to the front doors to be picked up by my butler, I turned back and noticed Lilith standing alone, she looked like she had no one to take her home. I walked over to her and tapped her shoulder and I asked "Need a ride?" she slowly nodded and followed me to the car.

We drove back to my mansion to work on the project, as we pulled into the driveway Lilith gapped at the giant house. My mother greeted us at the mansion, she smiled and told us dinner would be ready in a couple hours. I rolled my eyes and lead Lilith to my bedroom, I plopped myself onto the bed and let out a sigh. Lilith had sat on the floor taking out all of the supplies, I sat up from the bed.

"We don't need to actually work on the project. Come on! Loosen up a bit. Don't be such a smartass." I stood up and turned on the stereo playing some heavy metal music, I began to dance, I grabbed her hands and pulled her to her feet and I said "Come on! Lets dance" I laughed as she started to move ever so slightly.
