My mom is never here when I need to be picked up. She never keeps her promises. I looked around at all the cars, searching for my mothers before giving up and just standing in the same spot. I suddenly feel a tap on my shoulder and turned to see Ash, who was my partner for a project in class."Need a ride?" she asked calmly and I just slowly nodded and followed her to the car.

It was a long ride to her home, but when we got there I was amazed. Her house was huge! It's basically a mansion! I then see this gorgeous looking woman, who resembled Ash a bit, standing at the entrance of the mansion. As soon as we got out of the car, the woman told us that dinner would be ready in a few hours. But that just made Ash roll her eyes and have me follow her to what i presumed to be her room. As soon as we got to her room i sat on the floor and began taking out supplies for our project while she plopped down onto her bed.

She suddenly gets up and says "We don't need to actually work on the project. Come on! Loosen up a bit. Don't be such a smart-ass." Ash then turns on the stereo that was in her room and begins to dance. I've never heard of this genre of music she was playing. I've only ever listened to classical piano or violin music. She sudden grabs my hands, yanks me up and tried to get me to dance. "Come on! Let's dance" she said while laughing. I started to move ever so slightly as the music became much louder. I abruptly stop though when i stepped on my pencil and snapped it. I let out a small squeak and instantly sit down.
