Ash and that guy bought some cookies and coffee. I noticed that the guy was looking at all the big sweets in the display case. Maybe he has a big sweet tooth or something. Anyways, they go sit by the window and started to chat. I looked around the cafe and noticed that there wasn't really anyone else. I hear the bell above the door ring and I look up to see Mrs. Zurie coming in. I get her, her usual and she smiles that cute little wrinkly smile.

"You're such a sweetheart. But about our conversation before, when will you get a hunk of a man to have grandbabies! I am growing too old and I want to see some grandbabies!" she says, laughing softly. I let out a nervous laugh and rolled my eyes, just ignoring her small rant. I looked at the clock and took off my apron, taking my usual break.

After a while of chatting with Mrs. Zurie, Ash made her way over to me and smiled what seemed to be a weak smile. "When does your shift end?" she asked. I looked up at her and say "Not for another hour or so... Why?"

"Just wondering if you wanted to come back to my place with Benny and I?" she said with a shrug. While the offer was tempting, I still had to go finish our project and have violin lessons. But i didn't want to disappoint her since she is I guess considered a friend of mine. I glanced over at the guy for a moment. If i'm being honest, he is a hottie but he's not my type. Looks like Ash scored a major win with that guy. Mrs. Zurie steals a glance over at ash and her eyes widen. She quickly looks away and lets out a quiet but shaky breath.
