Jordyn Edwards
A Few Weeks Later
Babyyyyyyyyyy, I am hooked.
This man has me wrapped around his finger and lord knows things aren't supposed to be like this. But it's something about Christian that I've never had. It's probably the way he handles me. Most men are intimidated but he's not and that just does something to me.
On top of all that, this is the first time that I've felt like somebody besides my brothers or Tank cared about me.
Especially when it comes to my drug issue.
That's something that I have to work on, I don't want it to ruin anything. I should've never let that become a habit anyway.
But with a good support system, I should be alright.
Anyway, I decided to go ahead with the grand opening of my restaurant. I put it on hold due to my warehouse being raided and I just didn't care anymore. But this place has been a dream of mine since I've been a little girl. It's time to get it up and running.
I sat on the couch in my room while scrolling on my laptop. I need to get flyers made for the grand opening and something to wear.
The grand opening is in a few weeks. I'm excited but nervous!
My room door opened and Chris walked in.
He and Tank had to spend the day at one of my boutiques because somebody has been sending different people in to drop off threatening letters.
I knew one day I'd had to deal with an enemy but I'm not too worried.
Chris sat next to me. "Hey baby."
That made my body tingle.
"Hi." I leaned over and kissed his lips. "So what happened at the boutique?"
"A note didn't come today."
"Really? That's strange."
"It is. We're going back up there tomorrow."
I nodded.
"What you working on?" He asked.
"Flyers for my grand opening."
"I'm glad you decided to go through with it. I know this place is going to be dope."
I looked at him and smiled. "Thank you."
"No problem."
Placing my laptop beside me, I crawled on his lap and straddled him. He bit down on his bottom lip and gripped my thighs. Just as we were about to kiss his phone rang.
Groaning he pulled it out his pocket. I quickly looked at the screen, just incase it was Sadie, but it wasn't.
Chris ignored the call and tossed the phone on the side of him.
"Who's Aaron?" I asked.
"My best friend. Shit the only friend I got."
"Wanna call him back? I'll wait to get you horny." I laughed.
"Naw, I'll do it later." He smacked my ass. "Now where were we?"
We leaned in but his phone rang, once again. He flipped it over. This time it was Sadie.
"Ugh." I climbed off his lap and walked over to my bed.
