He drags me behind him while i stare down at my phone and not paying attention to my crowded surroundings at all. My shoulder knocks into some buff dude and begin to think my arm had completely fell off. I rip my hand from Mikey's and use it to cradle my shoulder. i glare up at the same dude that has the nerve to tell me to watch where im going.
"It's not my fault." I scowl and step forward but Emely yanks me back. Mikey shares the same ugly scowl that i have on and steps infront of me getting all in the guys face. Mikey is not that much smaller than him so i have some faith for him.
"Beat his ass Michael." i spit and Mikey pushes the guy and he stumbles back only in the slightest. Bryce jumps in and saves us the trouble of being arrested. He talkes to the man and he walks away.
"The two of you are meant to be i swear." Bryce chuckles and Emely let's go of me. Mikey throws his arm over my shoulder and pulls me against him only to place a rough kiss to my lips. We both smile and continue down the boulevard.
I set down a towel once we reach the sand and sit down placing my backpack beside me. Mikey sits between my legs with his back against me and i smile at the gesture. I comb my fingers through his hair softly and his eyes flutter closed at my touch. We watch as Bryce carries Emely to the water and drops her. "He's going to break her heart." he blurts and i gulp as i take in his words. In reality i knew it was true but i didn't want to face it just yet. I clear my throat before changing the conversation.
"Elian wants you to come visit him." my heart pinches slightly at his possible response and the thought of them never getting along again.
"Ok." is all Michael has to say and it leaves me speechless. We sit in silence watching Bryce and emely splashing each other in the water meanwhile my eyes drift off to a babygirl playing in the sand with her mother nearby.
