Monsters know no love
Monsters know nothing
Lies that childhood tells us
The truth never brought to us
What happened to morals
What happened to acceptance
The world spins turning darker
Glowing redder
The monsters are the ones who show no mercy
Monsters are the ones who kill because they can
Outside monsters are not always what they seem
We fight the zombies
When we are supposed to honor and remember the dead
We look down on the mentally unstable
When we should help them
We are not full monsters
But we are not angels either
The innocent can feel guilt
The pacifist can commit murder
We are broken beings
But who are we deny
Lies
Man's excuse
We are human even the inhuman can act human
A dog can be as loyal as a man
A cat can be as sly as a spy
Who are we to say that we're superior
We were raised shrouded in lies
Our morals stick
Not as well as stories
But they fall off in time
The world is not cruel if you avoid wrong
If you keep singing life's special song
Learn the physical monsters
Know them by heart
Just like humankind they are a work of art
