A poem I made for five minutes. Rushed because my professor told me so! haha
MORNING
I hear some plates fighting
And waters falling.
Am I still dreaming?
Oh, it's Mimi washing.
I feel so cold!
Have I grown so old?
What was this feeling?
Oh, it's cold early in the morning!
Hmmmn! Mimi's frying something,
I feel starving,
Oh, it's a fried fish
Perfect for a morning dish.
I hear someone singing,
No, it's Jeng's cellphone ringing.
She said somebody's greeting
"Cold morning!"
I opened my eyes
And looked for a sight.
I gazed at the ceiling,
I think it needs furnishing.
I stretched my arms,
Oh, I hear bones cracking!
I think I need to have some exercise
Just even before I rise.
I looked at the clock
I hear some tick-tack,
It's 7:00 in the morning,
I'm late but I still want to do some snoring.
I wake to face new challenges,
And face new beginnings,
It's a great day waiting!
