Their flight was at 6:45 AM and the airport was 2 hours away. They have to get up at 4 just to get to the airport.

Chris and Alexis were both sprawled across their queen sized bed with Raniyah in the middle of them since they weren't fond of leaving her downstairs for right now.

The alarm went off at 4 for them to get up and Chris tossed and turned before sitting up and stretching.

" Alexis , get up if you tryna go on this trip shit " Chris said tapping Alexis in a raspy voice.

She took a second before waking up and taking a long stretch. She dragged herself out of bed and went into the bathroom to brush her teeth,
Chris went in the other bathroom downstairs. He usually has attitudes in the morning, especially mornings like this because he's up way earlier than his usual time.

After Alexis finished up in the bathroom, she pulled her hair in a quick ponytail and threw on some black love pink yoga pants and a white loose half top, nothing special because all she worried about was going back to sleep.

Once Chris was done he moved all of their things to the trunk of the car while Alexis woke up Raniyah.

She tossed and turned before finally waking up.

" Get up so we can go " Alexis softly said to her.
She took a second to tune in and then eventually got out of bed. Alexis helped her brush her teeth and throw on some clothes and she fixed her hair.

Once they both were done upstairs, Alexis made sure she wasn't forgetting anything important that she'd need for two weeks before they went downstairs.

Chris was double checking himself when he glanced at what Alexis had on.

" Pshh " he said and chuckled while shaking his head and rubbing his hands over his face.

Alexis payed him no mind and proceeded to the car. Once Raniyah got to the backseat she immediately fell right back to sleep. Alexis got on the passenger side and Chris got on the drivers side and began driving while playing low music.

Alexis was on and off on her phone the way to the airport and once they got there, Raniyah had to get woken back up. Luckily they all had one suit case for each of them and of course Alexis had another bag aside from that one suit case because she requires a lot.

Raniyah rolled her small suit case as well as everyone else rolling theirs. It was 6:25 so they should be preparing for their flight to get called in 20 minutes.

I reached for my old mini iPad that was on the side of my suit case and handed it to Raniyah so she could play with it on our way there and then some. I don't use it anyway.

She smiled excitedly as I handed it to her and I put the headphones around her head for anything she looks at that has sound.

" Want something from the vending machine? " I asked Chris

" I guess " he said , I rolled my eyes

" What exactly ? "

" Some chips or something, I don't know " he replied while he sat on his phone. I hate when he has an attitude, especially an early morning attitude, those are one of the worst because he doesn't naturally get over it until later in the day.

I went to the vending machine and got Raniyah her favorite chips and a juice and me some chips and the crybaby some.

Once everyone had their stuff we just sat there eating on it and waiting on our flight number to be called.
