New Thing(s) Pt. 2

"Okay, today is the day Raniyah spends the night over her grandmas house and I have to work, so what are you going to do?" I asked Chris while I
got ready. Raniyah now has set days she goes to visit her grandma, it's every other week though.

"Ion know, I'll find some." He shrugged

"What did you use to do on your free time besides sit around?" I asked him.

"Sell drugs."

"Besides that."

"Nothing, chill wit Trey or some." He replied, getting annoyed.

"Well go do that, I know you don't want to be here by yourself all day."

"It don't matter to me, if I wanna do some I'll figure something out." He replied while stretching.

I nodded and proceeded to get ready for work.

"Well I'm about to leave out, her grandma will come get her at about 2 I think." I said kissing his cheek. I kissed her cheek as well while she slept next to him in our bed.

After 20 minutes of driving, I made it to work.

"GoodMorning" Krissy said walking by. I replied back with a GoodMorning and proceeded to my tasks.

"If I'm seeing yo face every morning then ima definitely love coming to work." Tev said once I walked past his way.

I glanced at him and kept walking, he seriously is a mess and he needs to stop flirting because Chris would really do what he said he'd do.

I proceeded to my morning job and hoped time flew by today.

All day while I was at work, I've been brainstorming and thinking. I know it's not really my business or my place but I wanted Chris to somehow get in touch with his mom. He doesn't have to go do the finding, I was going to but I just think it's important and plays a huge role in his life and his outlook of it.
I'm not saying it'll change him or change anything but I know it'll fill up the hole he has in his heart.

I don't know if I'll talk to him about it then try and see what he thinks because I don't want to just spring it up on him..or maybe I'll try and locate her first. Either way it goes, he's not going to want to do it because that's just how he is.

But, I think I'll try and find her first though because say he doesn't have a problem with doing it and gets his hopes up and we can't even find her.

The main question and problem is, how am I going to find her? I don't know her name, how she looks, where she stays around...I'll see if Chris can tell me anything.

"Chris, you never showed me who your mom was." I abruptly said while we ate dinner.

"Why would I? "

"I don't know ... " I shrugged

"Jus know she light skinned, look strung out and always wore her hair in a messed up ass bun." He said without looking up.

"That should paint a good enough image." He followed
