Gender Reveal

My phone vibrated on the night stand. I tossed and turned before waking up and realizing it was Mick. If this girl calls me one more time. Today is the day of the reveal party and I'm happy but I'm still so astounded that we're having twins.

I was only prepared for one baby but I'm getting two. I think Chris is still in shock as well. Here he is never had any kids, then we he does have some he gets two at one time.

"Hello?" I mumbled

"You still sleep? Get up girl. Your party is in two hours." She said

"I'll get up when I get up." I replied

"No, get up now cause I'm outside. Come open the door."

I rolled my eyes and then hung up.  I opened the door then went and laid on the couch.

"Okay so I have the decorations, the food will be ready in like 30 minutes. People will be on their way in about an hour and a half, come on Lex get up." She said while I was half sleep, curled up on the couch.

"Stop tellin' my baby to get up, clearly she tired." Chris had said and came downstairs. I thought he was still sleep.

"Shut your ass up." She said back.

I stretched and stood up cause I see she won't leave me alone. I went upstairs and brushed my teeth and then took a shower. I put on a black off the shoulder body suit with a burgundy skirt that fit perfectly over my baby bump and I was going to worry about the shoes later.

"So what are you doin' to your hair?" Mick said

"I don't know" I shrugged

"Stop asking me questions" I said and sat on the couch. I really didn't wanna be bothered today.

Raniyah came downstairs shortly and I got back up so I could fix her hair and find her something to put on.

"Baby go brush your teeth" I said while looking for her an outfit.

When she finished, I put her on this gold sequined shirt with white pants and her tan mini uggs.
I brushed her hair into two piggy tails and she was all set.

"You should flat iron your hair boo." Mick said once she came upstairs.

"I don't feel like it. I don't feel like doing my hair, putting on make up, seeing people, being awake. I wanna lay down and sleep in. I'm so tired right now, Mick."

"Ugh I know. " she whined

"I can do your hair for you, you can sit here and do your make up. Are you hungry?" She said rubbing my back.

"Actually I am. At first I didn't know why my appetite was bigger than I expected and why I've been super tired, but these twins are going at it with me." I told her

"I can go downstairs and make you something real quick and then finish with these decorations that I'm almost done with." She replied

I nodded in agreement. I sat there and did some light make up which only consisted of my eyebrows, lashes, light amount of foundation and lipstick.
