Inner Thoughts

4 PM

" Should we go to time square now or later tonight?" Chris asked as he scrolled on his phone.

" Tonight, I just think it'll look better. " I replied

"What we gone do in the time we waiting then?" He asked

" Let's go to the pool. "

" Good enough. " he said and stood up.

" Wanna go swim?" I asked Raniyah

" Yaaaaay! " she said and ran to her suitcase.

" That wasn't an exact answer but okay. " I replied with a little laughter.

After I had her changed into her little swim suit, she couldn't help but look all in the mirror with so much excitement.

"Look daddy! " she said to Chris who was just coming out the bathroom.

" You think you grown, huh? " he smiled

" I look pretty? " she asked him.

" Of course you do" he said and picked her up, giving her a kiss on the cheek.

I found my swimming suit in my suit case and went and changed into it quickly.

" You lucky that's a swim suit or I would've made yo ass change that asap. " Chris said when I came out the bathroom from changing.

" Better? " I asked putting a swimming skirt over my bottoms.

" Much better " he smiled

I grabbed our towels and we headed to the swim area.

Once we got there it was about 2 other people in which was great  because I'm anti social and an introvert, I really just hate interacting with other people. If I didn't know the people I knew now, I wouldn't converse with them either.

Raniyah got into the kid pool with a noddle and went into her own world-- literally. She began playing games with her self and just having immediate fun.

I was standing at the edge of the pool trying to see how cold the water was so I could brace myself for it. Chris walked past from where the kiddy pool was at and pushed me in with his hand and then got in himself.

" Why'd you do that? " I laughed a little as I moved my hair out of my face.

" You look like you was gone take forever and a day to get in, trying to be cute and shit so I called myself helping you out."

" That wasn't helping me, I could've drowned. " I smiled

" I didn't expect for you to push me. "

" Girl, in this 5 ft ass water-- you wasn't going nowhere. " he said brushing me off.

" Look Mommy. " Raniyah said

I turned my head and she was doing some twirling with the noodle while in the water.

" It's fun isn't it? " I asked her. She replied with a "Yeah"

" Come over here so I can watch you better. " I told her.

I put on her floats and let her get in.

Chris picked her up and acted as if she was a rocket in the pool by holding her horizontally, dipping her in and then having her come back up really fast. It tickled her a lot!

Her and Chris came up with so many games to play in the pool, they were having a blast and that's all that really mattered, as long as I was able to watch.
