It was supposed to had been updated yesterday but wattpad was acting dumb.

Chris laid against a parked car, holding his rib cage. Alexis eventually looked back up, seeing bodies lined up on the ground. She quickly hopped out the car and ran over to Chris, in disgust of the bodies laying in front of her.

" Are you okay? I need to call an ambulance! " Alexis said as she felt on her pockets for her phone.

" No no no. " Chris said to her

" What do you mean no?! You just got shot! " she yelled back at him

" I was just grazed by the bullet in my rib cage, it ain't none a lil first aid kit won't fix. Don't call the ambulance cause then ima be going to jail for this. " Chris said

" But when the police come for these dead bodies you're going to jail anyway. "

" No I'm not, hand me my phone. " Chris said to Alexis as he pointed to a direction across from him.

" Do you not see those two bodies in front of us? No." Alexis said, becoming more fearful than she already was. She never had seen a dead body in her life.

" Come on, Lex. I'm trying to make sure I ain't going to jail and I know you don't want me to so can you just get it. After that we can try and go. "
Chris pleaded to Alexis.

" But how are you going to leave and leave the bodies and stuff just here? You still going to get caught because-- " Alexis went on

" That's why I want you to hand me my phone." Chris cut her off in the midst of getting frustrated.

She took a deep breath and stood up.

" Just close your eyes once you kneel down to get it." he told her

She walked slowly over to the phone laying next to the deceased guy. She closed her eyes and screeched once she got the phone and ran over to Chris.

She handed him his phone and he called someone. He said some words that Alexis knew was a code for something then hung up.

" Chris people are coming out and I'm hearing sirens, what do we do?! " Alexis said and began panicking.

" Just help me up and let's go, ain't shit finna happen we not about to get caught. " Chris said not fearful of the people that became exposed to the bodies or the ambulance's late arrival.

Alexis pulled him up with most of her strength by his arm and proceeded to putting him into the passenger side. Once he was in safely, she got in the drivers side and sped off but not too fast to make them look suspicious.

" She slept through all this ? " Chris said to Alexis

" No, I was shielding her and covering her ears, she woke up and asked what was going on but I had to think of some quick shit off the top of my head, anyways now that we're in the car and you're safe, what was that? What the hell happened ? " She asked

" That was them niggas I told you about, they recognized me and tried to bitch me like I was scared. " he responded to her

" So, they must've threatened you. "

" You damn right they did so I beat them at getting they guns first and I start shooting. " he replied to her.

" They probably didn't plan on even going that far, they would've probably let you go. " Alexis said, wishing it didn't happen.

" Naw, that's not how niggas is. Especially them, they was tryna kill my ass last time I saw em so wasn't no letting me go tonight. " he told her as she made her way to the hotel's parking lot.
