"Wow Eva, that's really amazing. You're amazing." Aria said.
"Oh stop, you're making me blush," I said and we all laughed.
We all continued talking about each other and got to know each other better. Except Darien, he mostly listened. We spoke about our likes, our dislikes, our family members, what we do for fun, and a bunch of other things. It was going great until some vampire interuppted us.
"What is going on here!" a male vampire with dirty blonde hair walked up to us.
"Relax Stetton it's okay," Aria said to him.
"Yea don't get your panties in a bunch honey," Zane teased.
"You're hanging out with the outsider!" he scolded them.
"Relax man, it's fine, we were just taking a break," Darien stood up.
"Taking a break?" Stetton looked from me to Darien. "Seems to me Darien, that you're getting soft. Maybe you're unfit to train her, maybe I should take over." he said.
"Don't even think about it," Darien stepped towards him in a defensive way.
Zane stood up and watched them carefully.
"Oh please Stetton, we all know what would happen if you were the one training her," Aria sneered at him.
Whoa, what's wrong with him. I looked around at them and Stetton seemed to realize my confusion.
Stetton looked at me then, and a slow smile appeared on his face. "You wanna find out what she means?"
Darien pushed him then and Zane ran over to Darien. Aria stood up immediately in worry and I followed.
"Leave her alone! If you go anywhere near her, you'll be sorry," Zane defended me in a more than serious tone.
Suddenly, Stetton got up and was in Darien's face in a second. "Oh, did I just hit a nerve? You really are getting soft on her aren't you, protecting the little outsider."
"Just back off," Darien warned in a deadly tone.
Stetton looked from him, to Zane, to Aria, to me, and smiled again at me, and then walked off.
"Sorry about that," Zane turned around to face me, "Stetton's an ass."
Darien walked back over to us, "Do your best to stay away from him."
I nodded at him but didn't say a word. Aria noticed my discomfort.
"Eva honey, he's not going to touch you, we won't let him."
"Wh-what would happen if he trained me," I said.
"What?"
"You said you know what would happen if he trained me, what's that?" I asked again.
Darien looked down and then at Zane who motioned for him to answer.
"Remember how I told you that I offered to train you, so that no one else is forced to?" he began.
"Yea?" I answered.
"Well he's one of the people that would've, accidentally, killed you." He finished in a uneasy tone.
"He's a protector, a good one, but a bad one at the same time." Zane said.
"Yea, he has a temper, and almost killed one of our own during Tournament. And he especially hates Kairi's." Aria added.
"Tournament?" I asked, ignoring the whole part of him basically wanting me dead, I knew it wasn't gonna be wasy here but he just threatened me, now I seriously have to watch my ass.
