She didn't respond right away, instead she looked over the Theon tribe once more.

"I think we should do it." Came a voice from the crowd. Everyone looked over to where it came from.

"Avery," I smiled as she stepped forward.

"Elder Sonette, if I may?" Avery asked.

Elder Sonette nodded her head as Avery took another step forward.

"My sister saved my life the night I crossed the border, an action I regret deeply and apologize for. But if it wasn't for me, she wouldn't have had to save me, and she would be with us now. My sister put her life in danger to save me, I am ready to do anything to save her." She looked at me and smiled, "I owe you so much Eva, I'm so sorry."

"I've already forgiven you," I smiled back at her.

"I agree with Eva as well," Katrina stepped forward. "My little sister maybe young, but she is one of the wisest girls I know, and she knows what she's doing. I'm with her on this."

"Me too!" Madeline yelled.

"Madeline!" Her mother scolded her, "Keep your voice down, it is not up to us, it is up to the Elders." She looked at Katrina and Avery. "They will decide whether or not we will join them."

Everyone looked at the Elders.

"Well," Elder Sonette began.

"Sonette, you aren't seriously considering this." Elder Beatrix said in outrage.

"Beatrix," Elder Sonette turned to look at her. "I understand you still hold hatred in your heart for what happened many frightful years ago," She looked back at the Theon tribe. "But I see these people in front of me, who have all gathered here for one cause, and one cause only. To save their tribe, with help from another. And one of our very own, Eva Lockheart, speaks on their behalf with dignity and wisdom." She turned towards the Kairi tribe, "My dear people, there is no danger here, just hope." She turned back around to face me, "May I regard the Elders of the Theon tribe?"

Elder Masiah stepped up, "I am Elder Masiah, am I to regard you as, Elder Sonette?" he asked.

"Please, until we are better acquainted. And how, Elder Masiah, do you suggest we go through with this… proposition?" she asked.

Elder Masiah looked back at Elder Genevieve, who nodded and then looked at me. "Well, perhaps Eva can answer for that?" he said.

My eyes widened. Wow, I guess I didn't think I would actually make it this far. How am I supposed to direct what to do?

"W-well I was thinking, maybe we could void the treaty, and allow each other to cross over each others lands only to train, until they come. We can create a treaty, one that states the permission to cross over to each others lands, with no fighting, and no blood shed from our tribes."

"Hm, I see, what do you think of this, Elder Masiah?" Elder Sonette asked.

"I am fond of it, and ready to comply when you are." He smiled at her.

"Very well," she said and looked at the Kairi elders. "What do you think?"

"I must say this will work to our advantage, if it goes well," Elder Jeremiah said, "I agree to it if you do Sonette."

"Thank you Jeremiah," Elder Sonette said, "Beatrix?"

"No, absolutely not. Our ancestors made that treaty for a reason, a reason, Sonette!"
