Elder Sonette and Elder Genevieve turned to face each other and smiled, then looked at Elder Marcus who took out a horn, and blew it. As soon as it was blown, people from both the sides of the Border jumped over. Some of the people of the Theon tribe turned and began to run to the training grounds as the people of the Kairi tribe ran to follow them there. It was a beautiful sight, a mark in history. After centuries, the Kairi and the Theon tribe have crossed over the border, and were preparing for battle together. I lost my train of thought when I was tackled in a huge hug.
"Ow!" I said as Katrina hugged me.
"I missed you so much!" she choked me in her hug.
"I missed you too!" I said. Then felt someone hugging me on the side. I turned to kiss Avery on the forehead as she wrapped her arms around me.
"Eva, I'm so sorry for what I did! I missed you so much! I'm so sorry!" she said.
"Avery it's okay, I forgive you." I looked up as Avery and Katrina let go of me, my mother was walking towards me with a smile and tears in her eyes. "Mom," I ran to her and hugged her, "I missed you so much," I began to tear as she wrapped her arms around me. I missed her loving touch.
"I missed you too baby, I was so heart broken when you left, I couldn't sleep since you were gone. Oh baby I never thought I would hold you again," she tightened her hug around me.
"I'm here now, and we're together again, we're fine." I smiled as she let go of me and put her arms on my shoulders and held me at arms length to see me. "Mom this is D-" I turned around to introduce Darien, but he wasn't there any more.
"Who?" She asked.
"Uh, never mind, he must've left to help at the training grounds," I turned back at her and smiled, "Where's dad?"
"He, he uh-" my mom struggled to let me down easy.
"He didn't want to come." I helped her.
"He's just upset honey." she said.
"And Lucien?" I looked at Katrina.
"No clue, but I heard his friends saying they're coming as a group." She said.
"Okay, come on, let me show you where I've been staying." I led them to the house I was staying in.

"Wow, this place is," my mother began.
"Beautiful." Katrina finished for her as they both admired the art on the walls.
"Who painted these?"
"Josenia's mother," I replied.
"Who?" Katrina asked.
"Josenia is the tribe's healer," I looked over at my mom, "You should meet her mom she's beautiful, and so kind. Her mother made these pieces in her time, it's how she met Josenia's father."
"Aw, I love love stories!" Avery squeaked.
"This one's not such a happy one Ave, Josenia's father was a healer, he taught her everything she knows. He died a few years ago, he was 137 years old. Her mother died giving birth to her, but before she did, she made Josenia a bracelet and necklace set. Her father gave it to her when she was 7, and she's never taken it off since. She says, she swears she could feel her mother everywhere she goes."
"That's amazing, how old is Joesnia?" my mother asked.
"57,"
"Oh wow, so young." Katrina said.
