It was the first day of shooting the music video and the boys and I have grown much closer. We were currently standing in an awkward position for hours trying to get the cover for the music video right. "Okay, um Kelsey. Stand in front of Jack and Jack put your arms around her neck. The rest of you can do your own thing I guess". The little woman waves her hand around before taking the shot. She takes another one looking uncertain about the terrible few that were coming out.
The manager from the last photoshoot was standing there in disappointment. She constantly kept running her fingers through her hair and repeatedly sighing. "Cindy- Kelsey.. whatever your name is. Move next to Zach. And Jack move in front of Kelsey and kneel down for the camera". She grunts at us as we pose for the shot.
"Let's wrap this up please!" She shouts in anger tossing the pictures to floor. Finally.. i thought. The boys frowned in dissatisfaction before changing into comfortable clothes. I changed as well and we all waited patiently for our security guard to escort us out of the building.
"Jack and Cindy Crawford?, I need to speak with you". Jill, the manager said in attitude. Jack and I hesitatingly followed her to the office we were in before. "Take a seat". She says sternly. I grab a chair and took a firm seat down as well as Jack. "Since we couldn't release at least the cover of the music video today.." she starts as Jack and I look at each other with puzzled eyes.
"The least you can do for me is show some publicity. I need you to pretend your seeing each other.. or 'talking'... whatever you kids call it nowadays". She says sarcastically. I adjust my seat confusingly and Jack does the same furrowing his eyebrows before replying.
"Woah, wait. So your telling me, Cindy and I have to pretend we are seeing each other? Your joking right!" He laughs slapping his knee. She looks at him sternly as his smile fades into a frown. "I'm down, whatever I can do to succeed". I reply shrugging my shoulders. "This should be interesting". Jack agrees before we swiftfully sign our signatures along the contracted paper.
Before leaving the office we were assigned to "hold hands" as we were expected to be approached by the paparazzi leaving the building. "So.. Cindy and I are apparently dating now". Jack confesses to the other boys as we still continue to wait for our escort. I nod in agreement noticing Zach's face turn to that crimson shade again. His eyes locking with mine before looking down at his phone. "Ha! Ha!.." Daniel laughs before speaking again. "Wait, wait, wait.. so Jill is forcing you in a relationship for the public!" He laughs aloud again as Corbyn chimes in with him as well. "That's hilarious!" Jonah agrees while Jack and I chuckle along. Zach acted as if he payed no mind while he continued to look down at his phone. My smile faded noticing how upset he looked about it at the moment. The boys constantly joked about it even on the ride home. And still, Zach remained silent and unminded.
