Wrigley Martin just went to a game with her family at the historic Wrigley Field, but she didn't know she would meet the father of her future kids and the love of her life.
The family day was two weeks ago. Diego turns 9 months old today and I'm crying. Where did my baby boy go?! He said his first word, and that word was, well what sounded like anyway, cookie. I'm getting Diego ready for the day and I open up the package that has Diego's new shirt in it.

It says, "Hey, Daddy? Will You Marry My Mommy?" Its Cubs colors as well. I love it so much. I put him in the outfit and then take him downstairs, I have his bib covering the shirt so Javy doesn't see it right away. Javy's working out right now and so I'm making breakfast for when he gets home. Diego is in his high chair and I have the living room TV on where Spongebob is on. Javy still watches that show, I still watch that show, don't judge us. "Mama." I hear Diego say. "Aww. What's up buddy?" I ask. He looks at me and giggles. He's got a toy on his high chair tray and he's giggling. "You're such a silly boy." I laugh. The door opens and I see Javy walk in. "Ooh, smells good in here, Princesa." Javy says. "Thanks baby." I smiled. "You're happy today." He laughs. "Yeah, I just feel like it's gonna be a good day." I laugh as well. Diego is giggling and squealing. "Papa!!" Diego giggles. "Hi, Buddy." Javy says. "How are you?" He adds. Diego lets out a little baby burp. "I think that's a good thing." Javy laughs. "How many pancakes do you want, babe?" I asked. "Two is fine." He replied. I put sausage and pancakes on his plate and hand it to him. I do the same for mine and I join him at the lil breakfast table. "Baby, did Diego get a new shirt?" Javy asks. "Maybe, I don't know." I shrug. Javy knows I'm up to something. We finish eating and we make small talk, at the same time, as well as him feeding Diego. Diego gets done as well as Javy. I have a hidden camera so I can remember how it happened.
Javy:
I take Diego's bib off of him after he finishes eating and I see his shirt. My jaw drops. "Wrigley?" I say. "Yeah, babe?" She wondered. I pick up Diego and walk over to her. "Is this for real?" I ask, pointing to Diego's shirt. She looks over at me and smiles. "Yes, Javy, it is for real." Wrigley smiles. "What? I thought yo--" she cuts me off. "I've been thinking. I love you too much, and I feel like I broke your heart when I told you about my fear. But, I took some time and thought. I realized I wanna spend the rest of my life with you, Javy. You're the one that I want. So, Javy, what do you say?" Wrigley says. "I say yes, my gorgeous princess." I kiss her. "I love you." I say. "I love you too." She smiles. "Wait, I'll be right back. I have something for you as well." I say. I take Diego upstairs with me to get the ring I've been hiding for months. I put it on Diego's thumb and walk back downstairs. "Hey baby, look at Diego's thumb." I smirk. "Oh my gosh Javy." She says. I take the ring off of Diego, I put him in his pack n play. "So since you got to propose to me, I get to ask you this." I said. "Will you take this ring to show people we're engaged?" I ask. "Yes!" She smiled. I smile and put the ring on her finger. "I know how much you hate regular silver bands and big diamonds so, I had this one specially made for you." I say.
