Chapter 7|Secret Abilities

Once we all sat down and were eating, they brought up the topic of what happened earlier that day.

"Morgan, you never told us how you were able to do what you you do." Astride pointed out. I looked over at StarStruck who was curled up in a corner trying to sleep.

"Umm... well, it was just normal stuff." I tried to avoid the answer as much as possible, but I guess it's unavoidable.

"That's not normal." Heather told me. I signaled for StarStruck to come. She got up and and walked over to me and sat there with her head in my lap.

"Fine. One day me and StarStruck found a cave, walked inside it and found these." I took the gem necklace off of StarStruck to show them,"When we put them on, it was so weird. Eventually the hunters found us. When StarStruck went to use her plasma blast it came out as ice and froze the water, and froze the ships in place. It so weird."

"So, you got these abilities from gem stones?" I nodded my head.

"After a while we started practicing with our new found abilities, trying to control them, creating special attacks and maneuvers." I said putting the necklace back in StarStruck.

"Maybe we could do some training or think of fighting tactics so we could learn more about their abilities." Hiccup suggested. I nodded in agreement and gave StarStruck the rest of my food.

"I'm not that hungry. Come StarStruck, let's go for night time fly." I said as I walked away with StarStruck following.

"StarStuck." I could feel her eyes looking at me through the darkness,"I think we should leave, go on our own for a while." She growled a disapproving growl. Suddenly her growling stopped.

"What is it?" I whispered. She started walking towards the door. I saw a shadow coming in under the door. I got up and walked over to the door.

When I opened it I saw Hiccup standing there.

"Oh, um..." he said nervously.

"What are you doing?!" I asked him angered. He held up his hands in defense.

"I was just coming to check on you when I overheard you talking, and I just want to say, don't leave-" I don't know what came over me. Suddenly I kissed him. I guess I just wanted to shut him up.

Suddenly I heard StarStruck laughing her weird growly laugh. Then another dragon started doing the same thing. I guessed it was Toothless. When we pulled away from each other I saw Toothless and StarStruck staring at us.

I felt my face getting hot, I was guessing that my face was super red. Hiccup's face was red too.

"Umm... I should go." He said, and with that he turned around and left with Toothless following him. I turned around to look at StarStruck.

"I kissed him." I said about to squeal like a little girl. She just sat there smiling at me,"I don't know why I did that! WHY DID I DO THAT?!" I said holding my head walking back to my bed.

As I laid down I felt StarStruck's wing under my head. Her head was curled beside my waist and her tail on top of me. Right away I was fast asleep.
