Chapter 8|Awkward

"Morgan, Morgaaan... MORGAN!!" Someone said shaking me. I tried to turn on my side but couldn't because of StarStruck. Suddenly I felt a tail smack my face. When I sat up I saw Hiccup and Toothless staring at me.

"GAH!" I screamed trying to back up, yet again, I couldn't because of StarStruck. Somehow she was still asleep,"Get up you lazy dragon!" I shouted pushing her off the bed. I heard a loud thud when she fell.

"So you're not leaving?" Hiccup asked me. I shook my head.

"No, to be honest the hunters have been a struggle."

"Yeah, we kinda need the help too." I nodded my head. All of a sudden my face was getting hot, again,"Are you okay?"

"Y-yeah, I-I'm fine." I was lying. I didn't want to tell him that I wasn't fine, he might worry about me.

"I should be going. We were going to go around the island and check on some dragons. You can come if you want." I shook my head and he walked away.

StarStruck looked at me smiling and laughing.

"Shut up! You'd do the same!" I shouted at her. Her smiled faded as she crawled under the bed.

"Grrr... you stupid dragon." I mumbled.

"AHH!!" I screamed as I ran from the dragon. It was a Monstrous Nightmare was chasing me.

"What's-" was all Hiccup could say before I tackled him,"What's wrong?" He asked in a hurry. It was only him, Toothless, me, and StarStruck. Everyone else was split and put on other parts of the island.

"A dragon's chasing me!" I told him,"And it's a Monstrous Nightmare!" When he looked behind me his eyes widened.

"THAT'S HOOK FANG!!" He shouted. I got off him and helped him up. Then we ran. Eventually we ran into Snotloud and the twins.

"What are you running from?" Snotloud asked. We didn't even have to say a thing, cuz once they saw Hook Fang, they just ran.

Then we ran into Astride, Heather, and Fishlegs.

"Why are you guys running?" Heather asked. We all stopped.

"We...are...running...from...Hook Fang." I said through gasps, trying to catch my breath.

When they turned around their eyes widened. We had no where to run, and didn't want to hurt him.

"Oh Thor." Astride said.

"Um... what do we do?" I yelled.

"Snotloud! You're up! He's your dragon!" Heather shouted and pushed Snotloud in front of everyone.

"Um... Snotloud, Snotloud, oi oi oi." He said fearing what his dragon would do to him. Then he ran off with Hook Fang not far behind him.

"Alright, that...was, um... odd." I said, StarStruck growled in agreement.

"Okay, let's split up, again, and meet at the edge at sundown. If it's dark and you're not at the edge, just wait until morning." Hiccup told them. With that me and Hiccup left the others.

This is going to be interesting. I thought as we walked away.
