Epilogue

                Five Years Later

Shal woke up to Damon kissing her. She kissed him back.
"Good morning love, did you sleep well? "
He said to her when they stopped kissing.
"Yes, I always sleep well in your arms."
Damon captured her lips again. His hands started caressing her body.

"Daddy!"
They separated in time to see their four year old daughter run into their room and climb into their bed. She settled herself in between them.

"Anna!!"
Shal laughed when she heard Emma shout their daughter's name.
"What did you do this time? "
Damon asked Anna.

"Nothing daddy. I am a good girl."
Shal laughed some more when Anna pouted and Damon melted. She clearly had him wrapped around her little fingers.
Shal got up to go and find out what the problem was.

Shal walked into Emma's room to find her pacing. She smiled. She still felt tears well up in her eyes whenever she laid eyes on her sister.

After a quick and successful recovery, Emma now lived a normal life. She was in her last year of high school. She could even run a considerable distance without feeling pains in her chest.

Shal looked at Emma's hand. She burst into laughter when she saw what she was holding. Emma playfully scowled at her.

"Its not funny. Your daughter did this."
"Don't worry. I can lend you my make up kit. This is the reason why I hide them so well. Anna draws with anything she gets her hands on."

Shal lent Emma her make up kit. Emma went on ahead to get ready for school while she went to make breakfast.

Damon went downstairs after helping Anna prepare for school. He walked into the kitchen to see Shal cooking. He stopped for a moment to look at her.

She still looked so beautiful. His love for her did not fade, instead it has increased. He was still crazy in love with her after five years of marriage. He moved closer to her and wrapped his arms around her.

"Happy anniversary, love."
He said to her.
She turned in his arms to face him and he kissed her.

They were going out to celebrate their fifth year of marriage. Emma agreed to babysit Anna while they were gone.
"I love you."
She said to him when they came up for air.
"I love you more."

Emma and Anna came down to eat when breakfast was ready . Damon looked at his family and secretly thanked his father.

He didn't feel anger whenever he thought about his father instead he was grateful to him.
It was his father's last will that pushed him to marry Shal.

Shal gave him love and a family he loved dearly.
He would make sure to take care of his family and show her how much he loved them everyday for the rest of their lives.
