hello?

I walk down the gravelled pathway past my, shiny, black Range Rover, I whimper slightly, missing the feeling of grabbing the steering wheel and stepping on the accelerator, driving for 20 minutes with Green Day on the radio, of course. Just me and my thoughts.

As I trot to the nearest bus stop I think about the situation I'm in. I have to wake up extra early to catch a bus with poor people. Soon I see a figure with a black hoodie on with the hood. He gets to the bus stop just before me and gets out a card from his back pocket, and an identical one from mine.
"Hello?" He lifts up his head to look my way, his hazel eyes widen as he realised who was talking to him.
"H-hey." He stuttered
"Do you go to the same school as me?" I ask politely, I had never seen him around before, but I don't really take notice of people.
"Erm-yeah I do."
"Okay," I say, the conversation ending. Silence splits in the middle and I twiddle my thumbs. I hadn't 'twiddled my thumbs' in ages.
"Why are you here Mercury?" He asks after a moment.
"You know my name?"
"Who doesn't?" I tilt my head slightly and then back to its original position.
"Look, Walters, you're a privileged brat. It's all about you, the Mercury show isn't it. You really remind me of someone my sister goes on about. Blair is it? Blair Waldorf? Yeah, that's who you remind me of." He spits

"Look you, I don't know who you are but I am nothing compared to Blair Waldorf." As much as I love Gossip Girl and the characters I take offence to be Blair Waldorf. At least she married Chuck
"Listen here Walters, you're not scary. You have money, what's the big deal!" He says. He's scaring me, I've never crossed someone quite like this.
"Look, don't tell anyone I'm having to get the bus ok?" I diminished the comments and the small bicker we had and carried on, he seemed to have calmed as well.
"Can't Ben pick you up?" He asks.
"No- he has food poisoning, also, he's the reason why I'm getting the bus..." I trail off. I didn't like people in my business as much as people were in it. They always saw the outside versions of me and my family, never behind closed doors.
"What happened? Oh, I remember you snuck a boy into your bedroom after a party, you being your clumsy self, got your dumb ass caught meaning mummy dearest took your keys away, see I told you, Mercury. You're just like Blair." If I wasn't scared enough this topped it off. It scared me how much he knew about what occurred over the weekend.

"How do you know that?" I ask. Before he could say any more the bus had arrived. The glass doors swung open revealing a very, unhappy, bus driver. I got on and tapped my card, it made several beeping noises. I look to see where I could sit, I soon spot an empty seat and sit. The bus was pretty empty. I sat by the window with my bag on the seat next to me, so people would get the message that I wanted to sit alone. The bus rattled and chattered each time we went over a bump. Linda messaged me. 'I've got two cigarettes left, you want one?' I messaged a reply and she'd be waiting for me at the bottom of the hill, behind this arch. I looked at the mysterious boy. I wonder who he was, but all that was going through my head were,

You have money, what's the big deal?
