I finish my hug with Michael and go to introduce Ashton but I turn around and he's disappeared. He was replaced by a very angry Ben.
"Who's this?" He snaps
"It's Michael he's friends with Luke, you know my cousin Luke." I say calmly
"Huh, so that's why you hugged him right?" I rolled my eyes at the way he was behaving. Melissa, his ex girlfriend, cheated on him multiple times, so he was very territorial when it came to me being around boys.
"Ben pack it in now, I've had enough, this is Michael he has a girlfriend, her names Kirsty." I lie, praying Michael goes along with it
"Yeah, she's got bright pink hair!" thank God.
"Oh, sorry Michael, M can you help me with something please." I look at him with confusion
He whispers in my ear,
"Are you letting him in our group?" I scoff as he's taking this so seriously, it's not Like Luke would let anything happen anyway.
"Look Ben I've had enough of you acting up like this I'm not Melissa you need to chill fudge out." He deeply inhales and lthen sends his breath out of his nose.
"You're right, I should trust you, I'm sorry." And he engulfs me into a hug and puts his lips onto mine, there's no fireworks anymore, not like there used to be, there always should be fireworks shouldn't there?

Anyway he soon leaves my lips and intertwines our hands.
"Michael, this is Ben, Ben this is Michael." He let's go of my hand to shake Michael's,
"Welcome to Greys College!"
"Thanks, glad to be here."
"Now, let's get you the head master."

"Hey L"
"Who's the new kid with red hair?"
"My cousin Luke's friend Michael." Linda looks over to him sitting at the table, staring at his phone.
"He's kinda cute isn't he." She blurts
I whack her arm as the words roll out of her mouth.
"What was that for!" She exclaims
"Erm I don't know if you've realised Linda, you have a boyfriend, and a good one at that!" I whisper-yell. George treated her like an absolute princess.
"Ok ok, I get it that I can't move on." She hadn't told me that her and George had broken up... what was he thinking?!
"WHAT!" I practically scream.
"Yeah me and George broke up." She says shrugging her shoulders nonchalantly.
"And when were you deciding to tell me this?" I say, very unimpressed.
"Erm, as soon as possible but it never happened, but you see the thing is when I went to tell you he texted me and I threw my phone and it smashed and it wouldn't turn back on, so yeah." Her voice started to crack, I pulled her in for a hug and she hugged back almost immediately and soon enough I felt a wet patch on my shoulder.
"It's ok baby, what about you come to my house and we'll eat ice cream and watch loads of shit."
"Sounds perfect." She sniffles
"Hey, don't be sad." Michael coos
"Now this is just hella creepy." I say.
"What?" Michael asks. I smile and Linda and we both burst out with laughter sitting there with Michael in utter confusion.
"Anyone care to tell me what's going on?" Me and Linda stop laughing look at each other and keep on giggling. We just found it ironic that that had to happen.
"Fine! If no one cares to tell me I'll leave."
"Oh Michael, don't leave you Pizza expert." I blurt out.
"What?" He says, with a smile on his faceS
"Yeah you heard you 'pizza expert." Linda repeats
"You two are weird." He says and we stand up controlling our laughs.
"Now, I'm sorry about that." I say clearing my throat, still smiling and with a giggle in my throat.
"It's okay..."
"Now, what's the date Linda?" I ask politely
"Erm, the twenty-third today."
"Ahhh, you know what it is in two days!"
"Your annual party and firework display."
"It sure is!"
"What's that?" Michael asks
"Now Michael, every year Mercury's Mum and Aunt have to go on a Cruise together for business as they work together owning their company, SarahEmily, fashion line. So as they're gone for a few weeks on the first week of their holiday Mercury has an annual party and around ten-ish a firework display." Ben explains as soon as he comes over. He went last year, must've been too drunk to remember.
"That's it?"
"No, usually we then go bowling, like just our group and some from Mercury's summer camp and then she chooses who she wants to go with her to go down to her grandparents house down on the coast." They all nod and Michael looks confused, as if he was trying to remember something.
"But M what about your Mum, won't she find out?" Linda asks, she's a worry pot and always wants me to do my best and stay out of trouble, she's a good friend but it can get slightly annoying at times.

"No, but I don't think we're gonna go travelling this year, with the lack of car." I say, kind of giggling. I clap my hands together
