I let out the deep breath that I had been holding. I look at my mum, her long hair tied back, sitting there eating her cereal while reading the paper and getting disturbed by Jaxon every now and then.
"Mum," I start. "I need my keys, they're my everything they get me places, like to school and back." She stops me.
"And so does the bus." She says concentrating on her paper. I ignore her comment and carry on. "I use them to go to therapy and to go places, that's the reason you bought the car for me, so I didn't rely on other people," I say finishing my point"The bus will do you just fine, you're only going to school and back." She says calmly.
But mum!"
"No buts Mercury I've had enough! This is your fault." She says again. She's said the same sentence all weekend.
"What if I get Linda to pick me up?" I ask.
"Then I will only hide your keys for longer." She says, she just has an answer for everything, doesn't she?
"That doesn't mean you can take my fricking keys!"
"Language," the little one says.
"Stay out of this Jax!" Me and mum both scream at him. He puts both his hands up in defence. Jax was nice when he wanted to be."What about therapy?" I say, relaxing slightly.
"Jase will take you." I roll my eyes"Now, M go to your room and get ready! You're going to be late!"
"Well, I wouldn't be late if you didn't take my fucking car keys!" I shouted. I was done being the only one getting punished, my brother never got punished. But then again, he was the angel child.
"LANGUAGE M" Jaxon screams. I repeat my previous actions and drag my self along to long corridor and up the carpeted stairs.
"I didn't even do anything damn wrong!" I kick my door receiving a shout up the stairs. I ignore and carry on attempting to get ready and mentally preparing myself to get the dreaded bus. It's disgusting, it's full of fuck boys and poor people.
This is barbaric, how can I be getting the bus. I have a reputation to keep.
Putting the thoughts to the back of my head I carry on my morning routine, washing my face and applying the usual, mascara, eyebrows and a bit of concealer. I turn on my curlers, I slightly touch the curling iron to see if it's warm. It's warming up. I then go and pick my outfit. Simple, I grab my beige knitted jumper, a pair of black skinny jeans with rips at the knees, my black beanie, my Michael Kors trainers and my purple holo scrunchy. I go over to my make up desk and grab my nose ring and my gold watch. I put my watch on first and then take my stud out and replace it with my ring.
I go and look in body length mirror, not happy with my appearance, messy dark hair, and my body covers in my, initial embroidered, silk pyjama suit. I shake my head and make my way to my en-suite.
I see the curler steaming, so I quickly take my hair out of it messy bun and brush it through making sure I get every knot out of my hair.
I loosely curl my hair, finish off, turn off the curler and re-enter my white room and immediately put my black beanie on. I put on my jeans and soon put on my jumper on after. I put on my holo scrunchy on the same wrist as my watch. I grab my light brown purse filled with the fifties and a few hundred here and there, I grab my phone and leave my room closing the door behind me and slowly making my way backs to where it started.
"Now, here's a bus pass and your-" I cut her off
"Mom! I'm nearly eighteen, not 10."
"I know, I know, now here you are, go!" She passes my front door keys and the card for the bus."Bye, Jax!" I call.
"Bye!"
Here I go.
