Today was Wednesday. The day of my very first scan. I wanted to take Claire with me. Ever since she came to my house that day we've been inseparable. She visits everyday with her brother, Rhys. Rhys and Jax are officially best friends and always hide away and play video games. I wanted to bring Luke along as well and my mum of course.

Luke is infatuated with Claire. Every time I ask Luke to come out with me he asks if Claire is coming. Always making the same excuse about how she's such a good person to get on with. I'm glad they get along, it's just what I've needed. Claire doesn't know about the baby and I feel as this might be a good way to tell her. Or I might not take her and just give her the picture of the scan. I don't know.

"Are we off, your appointments soon." Jase asks. Jase had moved back in with Sam and Noah and hadn't seen me in a while. I hated going out as I really was starting to show. Maybe it was all in my head but I felt massive. I felt as if everyone knew and I couldn't do a lot.
"Who's coming with us?" Jase asks.
"Mum and Luke." I state. Liz had been told about my pregnancy and had Luke come to my first scan, Liz disapproved of my silly mistake but then was proud that I was taking it so well.

"Is Claire not coming?" Mum asks packing her bag.
"I forgot, she has school. She's not as lucky as Luke and I to miss anything." I frown. I really wished that Claire would be able to go. I was nervous and excited. I would finally be able to see my child, but I was scared. But no one would notice, I finish school tomorrow.

"Come on then troops!" Mum says, handing Jase the keys. We got in the car and made our way to Luke's, quickly picking him and leaving for the hospital.

As we pull into the hospital Luke grabs my hand. I was nervous and excited.

We walked up to the front desk and the woman sat up straight when she noticed my mother.
"Hello ma'am, what can I do for you today?" The blonde girl asks. Her breasts made that v shape in the low, purple dress she wore. From the angle we we're standing you could see right down her top. She noticed my brother standing there and she took notice, she took off her jacket mumbling about how hot it was. Jase looked at her before she took her jacket off then he looked up and played with his hair, making sure the gel was still in place. He was loyal to Samantha, he loved her with everything in him, that's why he looked away. I need someone like Jase in my life.

Luke however had fish eyes to this woman. As much as he liked Claire he was a hormonal teenage boy, I kicked his leg and looked down at me, the height difference was crazy, I didn't realise I was on my tiptoes looking at her until I kicked Luke.

"Okay, thank you." My mum said wrapping up the conversation. "We have to make our way east and past the child wing." My mum hadn't been here in thirteen years, I'm not surprised she had forgotten. When dad was ill we were in this hospice specifically for people with cancer. It reeked of disinfectant, and after he died we campaigned a lot. To give money back to the hospice for helping my dad even though he lost his battle. We did cake sales, sponsored runs, even went on tv just to get awareness that hospice's and hospitals take so much time into taking care of us.

We were walking through and Luke and Jase had taken my hands. I felt like a little girl again. I was much smaller than Luke and Jase they were both six-foot giants and I was only five foot four. Anxiety set in my stomach as I walked through the corridors. We came to another desk. A two men were sitting on the desk and a woman at the computer.
"Alright Alice, I'll see you in a moment." The nurse said. He reminded me of Jack. He had long-ish hair and a beard, he was really tanned and look quite gorgeous. My brother squeezed my hand. "He's staring at you." He whispered in my ear. I looked at him and Jase was correct, I smiled and he blushed and put his hand behind his neck. Jase let go of my hand and it looked as if Luke was my boyfriend so I let go of his hand he looks down and furrows his brows. Jase whispers in his ear and doesn't say anything.
