Chapter 15

Seri's POV

The show waa just a few days away and that day was our first dress rehearsal.

Since we were portraying a modern Romeo and Juliet, our costumes were what people would wear in their daily lives in the present. But the Christmas Ball scene had us wearing ball gowns and tuxedos.

Zara's gown for the Christmas Dance scene was just WOW! I know even mine was b'ful but hers was simply breathtaking!

The atmosphere in the theatre was that of excitement.

One could feel the excitement buzzing through everyones veins.

It was all chaotic, but I stopped to enjoy the feel of it all before I resumed to search for Zara.

Amidst all the chaos backstage I found Zara trying to get in her dress. It looked so fragile that if she pulled it even a bit in the wrong direction, it might have got torn!

'Oho! Let me help you get in...here hold this sleeve up..' I said while I struggled with the dress she had puddled at her feet.

It was golden in colour...and had a material so lustrous and sheer that one could see it and imagine it to be the setting Sun's golden rays that was being reflected off from a waterfall, making the gown look like liquid gold that was flowing downwards.

A big fat bow adorned one side of it, giving it a beautifully different edge. And Zara's blonde hair just added to the golden lustre of the gown.

She looked like some Goddess with golden aura all around her! Beautiful!

After a bit of stretching and pulling, we finally had managed to get her in the gown. She surely had put on weight, but still looks perfect in the gown. I was almost jealous at that.

Almost.

The gown looked like it was made with Zara in mind.

I wondered how Olly would react once he saw her. A little giggle escaped my lips which made Zara stare at me as if two horns had just sprouted out of my head!

They both looked too lovelorn while rehearsing together, especially in the 'Balcony scene'.

It was hard not to notice how their eyes only kepr searching for one another always, or how they could spot each other from a crowd of more than a hundred.

But at that point, I would rather have her think that I had lost my mind than let her know what I had been thinking, because she would have murder me or else!

She still thought that Olly had cheated on her.

But, Josh and I knew the truth.

Olly has asked Josh and me to not tell Zara anything. He wanted to tell her everything himself.

I had repeatedly pestered him to enquire how he he planned to achieve such an impossible task, considering, how Zara wouldn't even agree to be in the same room as him, let alone talk.

A playful smile tugged at his lips as he had answered that he had a plan.

I totally trusted Olly to be able to convince Zara and win her back. But I wanted to know his 'plan' and when did he want to implement it.

He being Oliver told me nothing. Neither did he tell Josh.

Which was shocking infact.

After getting into my own dress for the scene, I shimmied out from among the bustle in the changing room and went on stage.
