*Romeo- "But, soft! what light through yonder window breaks?

It is the east, and Juliet is the sun.

Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon,

Who is already sick and pale with grief..."*

(Romeo & Juliet, Act 2 Scene II)

Chapter 10

Zara's POV

It had been two weeks that the rehearsals with Oliver as Romeo started. Till then, I had completely managed to pretend that wewere nothing but two co-actors. Even Oliver had not really tried talking to me after the showdown we had backstage during the initial rehearsals. But I knew how Oliver was, he wouldn't give up on me or anybody, or anything for that matter, not so easily at least. He always got what he wanted. By hook or by crook.

I was sure he had a plan up his sleeve. But I knew what I have to do- stay immune to all his antics. Simple.

But, who was I kidding, I knew it was anything but simple. Every time we practised the Balcony scene, it killed me inside. The first time we practised the scene, I had quietly wept in the restroom afterwards.

Speaking such lovelorn things to Romeo as his Juliet, while I looked into Oliver's eyes. It was like I could feel how Juliet must have felt.

Romeo being right there with her and yet she couldn't be with him. They could never be with each other.

Though there was a massive difference in the reasons for the separation.

Romeo and Juliet's families absolutely detested each other. And in our story, I absolutely detested Oliver's guts and probably even he hated my guts.

Mr. Gay was extremely happy with our 'sync and chemistry' with each other. Apparently so was everyone else who has seen us practise together. They all thought we were perfect together. We always knew how amazing we looked with each other but now it was nothing but a fact...just that.

Our play was done..at least all the scenes, individually, were done. Now, the next day was when we compiled them and put up the scenes together and practised the play as a whole for the first time!

I was so excited for that! Definitely!! My dream, it was, to be Juliet! At least something in life was according to plan! And that too perfectly in place!

Oliver's POV

I walked up to Seri and asked her where Zara was. She told me that Zara went back to her car because she had forgotten her cell phone in there.

Perfect. I could talk to her easily over there, I thought.

I had to talk to her again. I didn't care who stopped me or what any one thought. I wanted her back. I  needed her back.

Zara would have to have listened to what I had to say. If she didn't then I don't know what would have done. But I decided to give it my best shot definitely! Now all I had to do was get hold of her alone.

I quickly made my way to the parking lot. A member of the crew & cast of the play met me every so often.

But I swayed through them to make sure that I got a chance to meet Zara alone.
