Perfect song for this chapter...

"On the first page of our story

Our future seemed so bright,

Then this thing turned out so evil,

I don't know why I'm, still surprised..

Even Angels have their wicked schemes,

And you take them to newer extremes,

But you'll always be my HERO

Even though you've lost your mind..."

Chapter 11

Zara's POV

I drove towards my house, at a speed way above the speed limit.

Almost as soon as I shut the door and run upstairs to my room, I heard a knock at the door.

Oliver.

I was sure it was him. He was just so shameless! I slapped him and still he followed me to my house! I hated his guts!!

I decided not to open the door for him! No way! I would let him keep waiting for as long as he wanted to!

Then suddenly I felt my phone vibrate.

As I saw Seri's name flash on the caller ID I realised that I had not even told her that I am leaving! And now I didn't know what excuse to give her as to why I was back at home then!

"Umm...hello?" I asked in an uncertain tone.

"Zara open the door, it's me." Her tone was something between sympathetic and stern. I doubted that she knew what had just happened between me and Oliver.

"What? Huh?!...okay..wait, I am coming!"

I cleaned my face of any tear marks and made sure I looked normal in the mirror before I went and opened the door for her.

Seri's POV

She cut the phone and opened the door almost immediately after that.

Her eyes looked blood shot with unshed tears her face was blotchy and red from crying so hard though it seemed that she had made an effort to look normal.

I hugged her tight and felt her finally give away as she sobbed into my shoulder.

I held her hand and made her sit on the couch, went to the kitchen and poured some strawberry milk for her. I was sure it would help her mood. It always did.

I went back to the hall and gave her the glass. She looked up, and gave me a quizzical look..

"Drink it up Zara. I know how it always helps your mood..."

She seemed to be following what I said, for a change, and gulped it all in one go.

I sat down next to her, gave her a semi hug and asked her the inevitable question.
