-Sam's Pov-
"I trust you." I whispered into his shoulder, feeling the warmth of my breath go against the fabric of his suit.
His hands on my back that wrapped me tightly in an embrace soon weakened as he pulled himself away. "I have been wanting you to know ever since I found out about you. My skin has been crawling with this urge." He said, looking into my eyes, as a lose brown lock of hair brushed lightly against the wind on his forehead.
I looked at his features more in depth, realizing the clues were hidden. The scratches and scars were covered so well, as if someone were to erase them away. The bags under his eyes were nearly nonexistent, being more bright and had more color to make him look more awake. His figure was manipulated by his suit with certain folds of clothing added some magnitude to his stance, to induce fear in his enemies.
"Its so amazing how a mask hides so much, even from someone you see everyday." I said, feeling the chill in the air blow between the locks of my hair and onto the back of my neck. "And the weatherman? Don't you think that is a risky move on your part?" I asked, making the intimate mood in the air fall with the light-hearted humor.
The small dimples on his face formed as he chuckled lightly. "Well I am the best in London. I never get a forecast wrong."
"I wonder why." I said, causing my hands to slip from Simon and back onto me. I covered my smile, my teeth only slightly visible to him. "You can just change it to whatever you want any time of day."
"I am the weather." He chuckled, putting his hands that were once comfortably around me back to his sides, awkwardly moving his fingers around. "What happens now?"
I forced eye contact with him, our blue eyes watching each other, trying to find an answer. "Do we tell our teams?" I asked, being the most overpowering question in my mind.
Cara was still at home, typing away onto her mega computer setup, finding some way to prevent Simon from being a danger to me. I couldn't let myself feel like I was the person at fault for making him forget who I was, and me remembering who he was. The thought of it was something I would feel too guilty about. She had to know about what happened before any damage could be done.
"That is their decision. We can't forced them to reveal who they are." He told me, putting his hands to his sides, feeling more comfortable as he stopped fiddling with them.
"I have to talk to my team. Our tech genius is trying to fix our problem." I said, putting my hands together, feeling as if he would be mad at me.
He raised his eyebrow with curiosity. "You were paranoid because I knew?" He smiled, as if it was a good thing.
"Yeah." I paused, as it put a serious take on the situation. "Being on news with thousands of viewers that trust me and that are anti-superhuman, my life was at risk, and I couldn't help the city like that." I looked down, rubbing my arm. There was a sharp harshness in my words remembering these vague thoughts.
His smile dropped, as his glance at me went away onto the ground. He was looking for something to say, but he was struggling to find the right words.
My phone rang in my blazor pocket, with the preset iPhone ringtone at full volume.
"Jesus, what if that went off in the studio on air?" Simon said, trying to make a joke to make it not so awkward in the air, but this was not something he could do with his powers as it felt so forced.
I looked up and smiled. "I'd say it is your phone." I saw the screen and it had Cara's name at the top, but quickly hid her identity from him. "It is my team." I said, hinting to him that he should shut up.
