-Samantha's Pov-

"Amy! Stop!" Cara yelled as I fell to the ground, unaware of my surroundings.

Everyday, we were meant to battle each other for training, improving our skills against an opponent. Usually I dominated Amy and Taz, but my confused mind made me weak.

I grunted in pain as I picked myself off the ground, my elbow throbbing in pain. Amy watched me, narrowing her eyes on me with concern.

"Taz, toss Sam a water." Amy said to Taz who continuously played with her brown hair making it into a curl. "She hurt her elbow." She finished.

She tossed me a bottle and I rubbed the silky liquid against my skin, instantly relieving me of the pain and irritation that the concrete floor made.

For the past week, I was still distracted, and I haven't been able to prove myself that I have fixed my problem with Simon in order to fight with them without making a mistake.

Just Monday, we helped clear a building fire and I flooded the entire street. Taz had to teleported all the water back into the ocean and Amy had to evaporate it with the friction of her running before the cops captured us for public indecency because the public hated us.

I ran my fingers threw my tangled hair, letting a gentle sigh escape my lips. "We have a disaster in the streets with Steelmaker. He is a challenge since the Sidemen have had difficulties before." Cara said, crossing her arms.

She left emphasis on her words, as if another few people added meaning to a fight. "If we work together, it should be easy." I commented, tossing the empty bottle into a trash can.

Cara glared at me in displease. "We have been trying to. Ever since your lone wolf fight with the Sidemen, you haven't been a part of this team."

I bit my tongue in remorse, fighting back the urge to argue for making the mistake of commenting.

She turned back with a small smirk, knowing that she won the battle against me with little fight. "That's what I thought."

"Cara. Stop trashing Samantha and doing you magic thing on the computer so we can get going." Taz commented, slipping on her dark blue gloves.

I rolled up my sleeves, darting my eyes away from them, annoyed at yet another comment dissing me.

Amy zoomed by casually, changing everyone into their gear. "One of these days, I am going to already have my suit on before you can zoom by."

She rolled her eyes. "Whatever you say." She sarcastically commented.

I perked my lips in doubt, but got distracted at the blinding white rim around Taz's portal.

I breathed in slowly, gathering my thoughts, composing myself so I wasn't going to be confused.

I didn't even know what to expect from this fight, a guy that could instantly develop metal put of things air and could easily be used against us could turn out in more bad ways than one. I just knew I didn't want to be in a jail, praying to be dead as I would sprawl around in an iron box with my powers dampened.
