Chapter 6

Skulduggery had finished dinner when he realized he hadn't seen Bella or Valkyrie for a while and Valkyrie had never returned which was strange for her to do something like that but they could always be having a talk a girl talk. Skulduggery shivered at the thought. Gross he said but just to make sure.

"Girls are you ok?" He yelled about to climb the stairs and head for Bellas room.

"Umm... Yes" Bella responded making Skulduggery nod and shrug his shoulders, mumbling how 'Girls were so complicated.'

"Good mother" Bella circled the chair once again that Valkyrie was tired into. Her head was aching and a bruised has formed from the hit she was given from Bella and the shovel. Her mouth was taped shut now. Valkyrie couldn't escape, she was trapped. There was no way out.

She needed Skulduggery but Skulduggery couldn't hear her. He didn't hear her before so he wouldn't be able to hear her now, though she was surprised he didn't hear her cry out in pain but that's Skulduggery for you. Valkyrie was afraid that the next time Skulduggery will see her, she'll be dead although she was surprised she wasn't dead yet.

She knew Bella would have another plan them. Bella was smart, she knew what she was doing. She wouldn't let Valkyrie live if there wasn't a reason.

"Why so scared? I'm your daughter, I'm harmless" Bella pulled an innocent face, touching Valkyrie chin, lifting it to make her mother look at her. Valkyrie looked like she had saw a ghost, or possible the demon standing in front of her. Bella loved having this control so she continued at what she was doing and that was teasing her poor, broken mother, leaving her life in her hands.

"Isn't it funny, how out of everyone, you, dad and Sophie were the only ones that said I was crazy. The only ones that said I was insane and the only ones that said I needed help!" Bella sliced the blade thick into Valkyrie's skin, tears ran down the elderly woman's face, she couldn't take this much pain, she couldn't bare it. She wanted the pain to disappear but around Bella the only thing that disappeared where people.

"Look who needs help now!" Bella kicked her sharp studs boots she was wearing, marking a bruise on Valkyrie's leg. Ripping the tape of Valkyrie painful slow. Valkyrie wincing with every little more.

"Any last words?" Bella bent down to her level while she sat at the chair. Her grin so black hearted. Her eyes sparkled with excitement and happiness. It made Valkyrie sick to think Bella was enjoying every little bit of this, but that was the truth. She was and she didnt dare hide it.

"You won't get away with this!" Valkyrie couldnt help herself, she needed to try something, anything. She was desperate.

"That's what your eldest daughter said" Bella replaced the tape and blinded her making her shiver in fear.

"It was nice knowing you mum if only you knew me, the true me." Valkyrie heard the knife scrap across the cover and she gulped in fear.

"He will know! He will know!" She spoke into the tape. Her words being mixed together.

"Don't worry I'll keep you save! Maybe I'll be nice enough and place you next to Sophie's dead body that'll still be in the cabin. You know the one that we'll live in from now on, the one that's in the wood" Bella snickered. Valkyrie couldn't believe her ears. She hoped she was dreaming but she knew she wasn't. Bella was a psychopath, a murderer, an insane maniac.

"You are a crazy fucking bitch!" Valkyrie spat, words just making sense and able to be heard.

"What was that? You would like a slow death? Sure thing! I always listen to my mum" Bella cut a strip of Valkyrie's ear with the sharp knife.

"I can't take it anymore! Please make it stop, it hurts" Valkyrie cried losing hope in survival. Her shoulders sloughed and her head bowed. She was tired of all this pain.

"Would you like to be placed by your daughter, mother?" Bella smiled a wicked smile that send chills down Valkyrie's back and she nodded knowing it the only way to stop it all.

"Yes." She mumbled against the tape.

"Good girl, nice choice." Bella stabbed her mother deeply in the chest as Valkyrie let out a cry, tears falling just as fast as her blood was leaking from her, draining her life away.

Valkyrie took in her last and finally breathe.

"Now that wasn't hard, was it." Bella grinned, which was the last thing Valkyrie ever saw. Bella was in the reflection of her eye as she lost the fight for life. As she lost the fight with Bella. As she lost the fight with the pain.

"Good job. I loved it." Clarity praised. Two down, one to go.

"Too easy." Bella boasted, starting to move the bodys remains into the big, black, plastic body bag to be moved to where her other daughter, Sophie was, in the cabin.

"Not long now."

"Can't wait." Bella spoke confidently smiling, slowly working to clean up all the blood and mess before Skulduggery got suspicious. But just when Bella started moving the bag she saw Valkyrie move.

"Oh, this gotta be fun." Bella spoke preparing her equipment again. "Strong one you are? Well guess what? So am I." She laughed.

Awww no Valkyrie!!!! Don't hate me please!!! Hehe. Another one bites the dust. Goodbye Valkyrie. Poor Skulduggery. HOW OBLIVIOUS WAS HE THOUGH!!! Seriously!
