“Why are you laughing!?”
Magnus is on my lap laughing his head off
“Because your face was priceless”
“Magnus if that was my dad you would be dead right now.”
“But it wasn’t so I'm laughing. Besides i really like this”
“Fuuu... fine” I could feel my cheeks burn up
The door opened again and magnus left my lap
“So you guys…” Jace came through the door with this provocative expression
“Jace Leave” I threw the book on the floor at him
“Alright alright”
He closes the door behind him. I flop down onto the bed
“Augh” I'm an idiot, why did I do that, god what's Izzy gonna say, half the schools gonna know by Wednesday, fucking Jace why couldn't you knock for once in your life, I'm such an idiot.
“Hey I'm still here ya know when you did self-loathing and all”
I look at him “Oh was that…”
“Out loud? Yes”
I barry my head in the pillow again, “augh” I feel the bed shift and look up to see Magnus laying down next to me “uh…”
“What it’s not the worst thing we have done today. I’m tired let’s go to sleep”
I smile “okay, I'll be right back okay?”
“Okay”
I leave the room and walk downstairs to see Jace and Isabelle talking. Oh god. I ignore them and walk into the kitchen. I search the cupboards for the white cheddar cheez-its.
Found ‘em.
I go into the den and grab two rings of movies. ((the little things you put the DVDs in? Know what I mean? okay.)) I start to make my way back upstairs when Izzy calls my name over. I try and ignore her and just go up when Jace calls me too. Shit. I walk over to the table where they are sitting. “What”
They look at each other then at me… silence…
Izzy has this look of a concerned parent going on and Jace is posed behind her like a dad
“So Alec we understand that as a young-”
“Nope! Nope, nopity nope!” I leave and go upstairs into my room and slam the door. “No”
“Whats going on?” Magnus asks tiredly his hair is in this tiny little bun
“Nothing, Izzy, and Jace just … they're weird.”
“Uhm.. so what’d you bring?” he sits up and makes room for me on the bed
“Uh? Oh here…”
I hand him the movies and lay next to him. I open the cheez-its
“what do you want to watch?”
“Um.. here, this is one of my favorites” he hands me ((insert movie)), oh I love this movie…
“Why are you blushing… do you not want to watch it”
“No, it’s fine”
I put in the movie in my tv and sit up on the bed with my back on the wall. Magnus sits next to me. A couple minutes in, he starts to shift. “Um.. do you want to ah sit up here?” I pat my lap.
“Uh yea”
he sits between my knees with his back slouched against my stomach, forcing me to sit up straight. ((he’s not very good at that lol)) then over halfway into the movie, he falls asleep.
He looks cute when he’s sleeping.
I feel like i can protect him better from here.
I turn off the movie and the lights.
Soon falling asleep myself…
