his eyes, black as night
he had a rough home
but a tough gang
started with a movie
with Pony, and Dally
met a girl named Cherry
Ponyboy and him went to the park
on that cold dark night
they saw a blue car
Johnny Cade was his name
he killed the soc
to help his gang
ran to a church
hid from the fuzz
they left the church
and came back to it burning
Johnny Cade was his name
saved some kids
but what was the gain?
Johnny Cade was hurt and weathered
gone from this world forever
