"Girls, girls! wake up!" A girl's voice said before Natalie and Angel opened their eyes to see Izzy standing by the door.
"Why?" Natalie questioned, quite bluntly.
"What's going on?" Angel asked as she got off of her bed.
"Jace wants you guys." As soon as Izzy said that, Angel fell off her bed, out of jumpiness making Natalie sit up and look down at her,"You okay?" she said with a light chuckle before Angel answered with a hum.
"Anyways, can't it wait? I'm exhausted," Natalie said as she collapsed back down on her bed.
"Nope, comn, get up. Let's go." Izzy said before walking out of the room.
Natalie sighed in frustration as she sat up and got off of her bed then grabbed her black hoodie off the hanger as Angel did so too before they both walked out of their room, down the hallway to the heart of the institute as they walked down the small flight of stairs to see Izzy and Clary sitting on a table, Alec sitting on a chair infront of the table and Jace and Hodge standing beside him.
Natalie and Angel walked towards them and stood beside Jace.
"Magnus Bane is over 300 years old and as you can see, he's not exactly shield away from the pleasures of every century," Hodge informed the group as he selected some pictures of Magnus through the screen infront of them as for Natalie she doesn't need to hear about him, because she already knows a lot about him herself, she met him like 19 years ago, the day she was born, he was the one who taught her how to control her powers and cast spells and such.
"His tastes are both exquisite and quite excessive," Hodge stated as many pictures of Magnus were appearing on the screen.
"Look's like the downworlder's David Guetta," Clary stated, still staring at the screen.
"Guetta's already a downworlder. Vampire, never seen him in the daylight," Izzy spoke up, smiling sheepishly.
"Can you two focus?" Alec said, back with his serious mood,"This is not a joke."
"Someone needs to get slayed," Isabelle commented with a smirk.
"Alec's right, now Magnus is one of the most powerful Warlocks I've ever known. He has a deep mistrust for Shadow Hunters," Hodge stated.
"Then, why did he help my mom remove my memories? Isn't she a Shadow Hunter," Clary questioned.
"Yes, one of the best, but help might not be the most accurate word. Now did Magnus provide service for Jocelyn? Perhaps. But more than likely, your mother paid Magnus handsomely for his magic," Hodge responded simply.
"Warlocks usually require payment before they help anyone with anything," Jace added as he sat on the chair beside Alec.
"Usually, but not really," Natalie said, responding to Jace's comment.
"Word from the clave is that most of the Warlocks have gone into hiding since Valentine began hunting them," Alec spoke up.
