"Hey, Jace-" Michael began to say to the blonde whom is breathing heavily,"I'm so sorry."

"Sorry for what?" is what Jace managed to get out from his mouth.

"What you saw- What you thought Valentine did to me- It saved your life. There wasn't a way it was supposed to go."

"Am I wrong to want to kill him?" Jace managed to get out again.

"Many have tried," Michael stated.

"I'll succeed," Jace replied,"I swear." he added before he closed his eyes and groaned from the pain. Angel looked at her boyfriend in huge concern and Natalie could see that she was at the verge of crying.

"Jace- Hold on, please." Angel pleaded with a crack in her voice.

After an hour or so later, Clary returned with the blood, she said Simon had to stay at Hotel DuMort with Raphael as Jace was rushed to the back of Jade Wolf to get the blood in his system and cure him.

The two girls waited and sat in a booth."Are you two okay?" The red head asked as she sat the opposite of the two brunettes.

Natalie nodded slightly in response,"I-i'll be fine," Angel responded as she fidgeted with her fingers making the red head give her a small nod.

"Jace will be alright, Angel. We got the blood right in time." Clary reassured making Angel sigh before Michael walked in, causing the three girls to abruptly stand up from the seats and look at Michael.

"The blood helped him make him much better-" Michael announced making Angel sigh in relief,"He's gonna wanna see you girls."

Before the three girls could go check on Jace, Michael requested to talk to Clary as Natalie and Angel ran to the back to check on the blonde.

The two girls walked in to see Jace lying down on a couch with one hand behind his head as his other hand was playing with his stele between his fingers,"Hey, are you doing better?" Angel asked as she sat down next to him as Natalie was standing beside them with her arms crossed over her chest.

"Yeah- now I am," Jace responded as he smiled at Angel making her smile back warmly.

"I just wanna know if Izzy and Alec are alright back at the institute," Jace added.

"Same," Natalie said with a sigh then looked at the ground right before Clary walked in.

"Hey," Clary said with a smile.

"Hey." Jace replied.

"I'm gonna go out and breath some fresh air," Natalie said as she began to walk out of the room, but before she did, she saw some bandages on a table then quickly grabbed them and left the room.

She walked out of Jade Wolf and sat in a bench that was very close to the restaurant, she looked around to see if there's anyone watching before carefully pulling her jeans up to reveal the scratch. She carefully wrapped the bandage around her leg and once she was done, she pulled her jeans down and stood up slowly from the bench then walked back into Jade Wolf.
