NATALIE RAN THROUGH the streets of New York to find Alec and she didn't care how dangerous it would be, since she's someone that Valentine is looking for. All that mattered to her was that Alec was okay.

The girl kept running and running until she finally reached Magnus' place.

The brunette walked hallway after hallway, until she found Magnus' room.

She was about to enter but stopped once she got a better look. Magnus was leaning on Alec's shoulder while Jace, Clary and Simon were crowded around Luke.

Natalie took a deep breath as her heart fell at the sight of Magnus looking at Alec with that look in his eyes.

Natalie took another deep breath before running out of Magnus' place and back on the streets. She decided to take some time alone, that's why she didn't go back to the institute, she just kept walking, passing by places she used to go to, like her favourite park and that Coffee shop that her and Angel used to go to and order the same thing, White mocha frappucino.

Then she went and sat on a bench, looking at the families walking by, feeling a hole in her heart as she remembered her mother.

Natalie went and put her head in her hands and just started over-thinking which is one of her best talents.

"Hello," a deep dark voice said as Natalie perked her head up to see a man grinning at her in a black leather jacket before she stood up and got her powers ready as soon as she saw the circle's mark on his neck.

"What do you want?" She said as she looked sternly at the man.

"Valentine wants the cup so tell me where it is or I'll kill you," The man said coldly as he twisted the seraph blade in his hand.

"Now tell me where the cup is!" The man demanded.

"I don't know where the freaking cup is!"

"Liar!" The man yelled as he ran towards her before Natalie blasted a spell on him making him back off as she charged towards him, taking her seraph blade out as she was about to stab him, the man dodged it and stood over her and was about to stab her but she was too fast as she rolled out of the way and stood up with her blade aimed up high.

"Is that all you can do? I'm literally going easy on you by not using my powers." Natalie smirked, trying to get into his head as it worked making him growl and slash at her cheek.

Natalie just managed to moved out of the way and then elbowed the man in the face and cut his cheek with her blade.

The man jumped back as he touched his bleeding cheek and glared coldly at Natalie.

The man caught Nat off guard as he tackled her to the ground and held his blade to her throat.

"Tell me where the cup is." He spat in the girl's face.

"I don't know where it is! You oath!" Natalie shot back as she felt around for her seraph blade that had fell out of her hands.

"Tell me or I'll put this sword through your stomache!"

"Are you sure about that?" Natalie said as her eyebrows were furrowed with a grin before she kicked the guy off of her and onto the ground and pushed the blade through his stomach.

"Never mess with a Shadow-uh Warl- with a- Shadow-Warlock hunter. Yeah that works." Natalie said as she shrugged her hands and let out a long sigh before dusting off her clothes and walked back to the institute to take a nap.

Before she ran back to the institute Natalie made sure that the man's body wouldn't be found so she just buried him before opening a portal to the institute and jumped in it to arrive in front of the institute.

The girl stood outside for a minute, panting, trying to catch her breath before she started to walk up the stairs and into the institute.

As soon as Natalie entered she saw the two Lightood siblings having, what it looks like, an intense talk and she was kind of eaves-dropping, managing to catch some of the conversation.

"How can you not know where she is?" Alec asked like he was about to explode as he ran up his hand to his face in frustration.

"I told you, she was going after you to see if you were okay, Alec" Izzy replied.

"I didn't see her at Magnus' neither when I left."

"I'm telling you, she said she was going to Magnus'."

"Well, she clearly didn't show up. So if she wasn't there or here and she wasn't with me then where the hell is she?" Alec questioned as he paced back and forth, pinching his forehead.

"Guys, relax. I'm right here." She spoke up as the two Lightwood siblings turned to look at Natalie and sighed in relief.

"Where were you all night?" Izzy stated as she furrowed her eyebriws at the brunette.

"Um- I missed New York, so I uh- decided to- walk around." Natalie breathed out as she gave the two a soft smile.

"Are you okay? Did something happen out there?" Alec questioned as he walked closer to Natalie scanning her face to see a scratch on her face.

"Yeah, don't worry. I just ran into a Circle Member, I took care of him though," she replied making Alec cup her face and look at the scratch before she gently removed his hand and looked at him.

"I'm fine, Alec. All I need right now is a nap. So, I'll see you guys later," the girl said with a slight smile as she headed towards her room before Izzy caught up with her and grabbed her arm."What's wrong, Natalie?" she asked, clearly knowing that Natalie lied.

Natalie let out a sigh and looked at Izzy,"I uh- saw Magnus with Alec, and- he was looking at him like he was- I don't know, I just freaked out and ran out to have some time alone," Natalie breathed out as she ran a hand through her hair.

"He's gay, isn't he?" Natalie asked the younger Lightwood sibling.

"No, actually he's bisexual and more into girls, Natalie" Izzy stated with a soft chuckle.

"Then how come I've never seen him interested in any girl whatsoever?" Natalie asked as she crossed her arms over her chest making Izzy let out a sigh.

"Because the only girl he's ever been interested in, is you."
