After that glitch on Wattpad yesterday a few things being deleted and then getting locked out of my profile, I took a step back and decided I should "complete" Book 1 before moving on to anything else. So, here's the last bits.

@FangTheBoarhound – I just noticed that Clifford and Radcliffe are almost anagrams of each other!

Ha! Wow, I wonder why I've never noticed that. I mean, switch that 'a' to an 'o', then lose the 'e' at the end and we're in the money. It's about as close as you can get, I guess. It's destiny, almost!

@noaniko999 – What other fandoms do you like?

@noaniko999 – What other fandoms do you like?

You could've probably guessed by now in my passing references, but I'm a huge Star Wars fan. And all of us should be – even if you don't like the movies, books, games, etc. because the way they treat their fans is next to none. Granted, they've been around longer than Potter and they started in film, but I feel like there are a lot of stellar comparisons between both fandoms. Some, less than stellar. *cough* JKR slowly turning into George Lucas *cough* but gurl you know you still bae *cough*

@EowynFaramir – Is it possible for you to do a live chat somewhere?

This is something I'd totally be up for in the future. Right now, things are a little unbalanced between my work and home life. Patreon has the ability to remedy that situation, at which point I'd be freed up to do any number of things for you guys. But I'm not in a hurry.

@Addicted_To_Hogwarts – You should publish the books and let us buy them. You should try and talk to JKR about making them official or something that would be cool. Also how much roughly does it cost to publish, print and bind 1 book?

Lots to unpack there. Let's go backward. Since this question popped up when I was sharing pics of my original bound copy, I'll assume that's what you were referring to. At the time, the cost was between $50 and $150, which seems like a lot. But I had to manufacture the imprints, print the book pages (paper and ink), and pay for the binding process. It was far cheaper to make multiple copies, that I remember. When I went back in to get reprints, it was around $35. I'm sure the prices are different now. That was...fifteen years ago. Great memories, though. They were always so excited to see me when I came strolling in. I think they were getting tired of printing bland thesis books for college students, to be honest.

Next question... Hmm. If JKR actually stumbled on to my book somehow, and that seems extremely unlikely, I would be flattered if she got past the first chapter. I'd never turn down a thumbs up from her, but I doubt she would allow other novelists to write in her world. And I have too much respect for her to spam her twitter or whatever. It's a nice thought tho, isn't it? Who knows...I'll leave it up to the constellations!! If only Bane or Firenze could guide me along the way!

Thank you Thank you Thank you! You all really do matter to me, more than you realize. Throughout these last few months, you've restored a writer's faith in his ability to tell a good story. I'm so grateful.

My last request if you decide to start over from the beginning, please please be careful not to spoil anything. You'll begin to notice that there are lots of breadcrumbs leading toward the final chapters, and the concluding mystery. I'm sure you'll be tempted to want to point those out or wink at me. I know you won't, but I would be remiss if I didn't ask you to try not to ruin it for everyone else. I'm only even asking this because I know that Harry Potter fans are very devoted to the books and tend to re-read them. I'm not at all saying I'm on equal footing with the original books, I'm just being cautious, I guess, and I really want the experience to be fresh and unspoiled for new readers.

And keep an eye out for this year's WATTYS. Special thanks to @bookbutterfly1999 for your encouragement and many long private messages encouraging me to enroll TOILERS into the competition. I'm really new to this, so I honestly had no clue the Wattys was even a thing. It sounds really exciting. We'll see what happens!

That does it for FRED AND GEORGE AND THE TOILERS OF TROUBLE. As you know, I have decided to make the seven books available to you. The best version as possible, as fast as I can. As it stands, the books are each in a different stage of the editing process. Some far worse than others. But I'm patient. Heck, they were sitting on a shelf for a decade-and-a-half. Hope you can be patient as well! The story continues on with FRED AND GEORGE AND THE ELIXIR OF LIFE. And do keep an eye out this week for my follower-suggested fan edit of HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD.

All my love, Little Toilers.
