Don't worry, this note is a short one. Following this, you'll be getting not one, but two updates to the ongoing, dream-like journey into the memories of young Hagrid. I felt it was only right, at this point, to give you guys a "trigger warning". I know that's become more commonplace these days. For those who are more gentle-hearted, this could be a difficult read. I know it was difficult to write. As I've said before, I care about you guys. And while the story means a lot to me, and I would never want you to miss a single word, I'd feel awful and terribly guilty if something I wrote caused you distress. So, as you've read twice thus far, Be Ye Warned.
Out of respect for this scene, I'm going to limit my comments today. This one is hard. And it's been with me for 15 years!
While it may be difficult for you to read (maybe not at all, for some), I hope these scenes rest somewhere between sorrow and sympathy. It is not explicitly graphic, that I can say. And, don't worry, much more will make sense as the chapter goes on. Keep in mind, we have yet to visit the memories of the painted man, Vindictus Viridian.
Enough interrupting, let's get back to the infamous Chapter 26. I'll be here for my Little Toilers if they need me.
