she stood so miserably beautiful
in a white gown and hair falling down her back.
she let me in;
captivating me into her trance.
i was mesmerised by her ability to keep me warm
and build a haven out of a human full of flaws and insecurities.
and when i delved deeper into the depths
of her miserably beautiful facade
she destroyed me.
she left me
with nothing but myself;
she left me
until i was all alone
and my shrewd heart turned into
a snow storm.
