it's the secrets we thrive on,
and the mystery we lean on.
we're all caught between the haze
and we forget the important days.
we're in between survival and loneliness.
we grasp on to the vintage, torn books on the shelves.
we're in love and light headed
because we're young and free spirited.
we fear the unknown and eery
because thinking about us makes everything quite blurry.
so we try to hold on to the feeling of euphoria
because we don't want to face dysthymia.

she's trying to understand the living,
to be happy and to be a normal human being.
she misses the the good old days
because nowadays all she sees is a haze
of feelings and stress.
she's unhappy with the way she looks when she tries to undress.
she's trying to look for him in the crowds
hoping that he'd be able to pull her to the clouds.
and she'll feel be better she wakes up
because they'll make up.
