Jax's POV:
We sat in Church, smoke filled the room as everyone stayed quiet. A lot of them were still trying to recover from the last events of the night before.
"How could you let her go?" I looked up to see Tig staring back at me. "HOW?!" He yelled out slamming his fists on the table while standing up.
"I never wanted to!" Tig just scoffed before remarking back at me.
"Sure you didn't! That's why she left for four years! That's why she waited on a god forsaking street corner for you!" I slammed my hands on the table as I stood. Clay slammed the gavel down breaking me from thought.
"Will you two just shut the fuck up for five fucking minutes?!" I sat back down while Tig remained standing. Silence refilled the room. The next thing we knew Juice was running through the Church doors. Panting he closed them and walked to his seat. "Where the hell were you?" Clay snapped, Juice regained his breath speaking up.
"Sorry, I was doing some research and I forgot we had church."
"Research? Research for what?!" Clay snapped out again.
"Well, Jax had asked me to trace this unknown number that had texted (Y/N) a few weeks ago and I did but when I saw who it was I was pretty sure I knew this person from somewhere." We all nodded in response as Juice continued. "From what I saw this guy's father was in a gang called 'The Bitter Horsemen'." The name never rang a bell in my mind as I watched the looks change on the older members faces.
"The Bitter Horsemen?" Chibs questioned for reassurance. Juice nodded as Clay slammed his hands down on the table.
"Fuck!" I looked at our president with confusion.
"What? Who are they?" I questioned.
"They were a rival gang of ours when your dad was still president but instead of harming us for revenge they went after the woman of the club." I stared at him still confused as if this was supposed to mean something to me.
"Okay? What do they have to do with us now?" I questioned looking towards all the older members when Clay spoke again with a sigh.
"They were the gang that attacked (Y/N) when her mother died." I felt everything around me just stop. I glanced back over to Juice as panic filled me.
"Who was the person who texted (Y/N)?!" I snapped while Juice jumped at my tone.
"Uh-uh, it was a guy named... Liam Brake? He was the son of the president." Opie and I glanced at each other, the same look on our faces. Realization and anger.
"That's him. That's her ex-boyfriend." Tig's head snapped up at me.
"Wait, are you telling us that the douche that abused and raped her in New York is the son of our old rival gang?" I nodded my head as Clay spoke next.
"Go get (Y/N). We need to find out everything we can about this prick." I nodded as Opie and I stood heading out of church and out to her dorm.
(Y/N)'s POV:
I twisted and turned in my sleep. Nightmares of Liam racked my brain. I awoke to the someone shaking me and the sound of a voice, calling my name.
"(Y/N) ... (Y/N) ..." I opened my eyes to see Opie shaking me gently while Jax stood above me. I jumped at the sight of the two men.
"What the hell do you want?" I snapped out at them as Opie chuckled.
"She never was a morning person." I glared at the two when Jax spoke up.
