Noah's transition took longer than expected. Carlisle believed it was because of how little venom was left in his system but that didn't stop everything from worrying. Bella was especially worried for her younger brother, she was afraid of what becoming a vampire would do to his delicate soul, though she was more afraid he wouldn't wake up at all.

When Noah did open his eyes however, it confused everyone. Noah's heart still beat, though admittedly it was much slower and at more random intervals. His eyes were still the oceanic crystal color they had been before. His skin, though pale, was only a few shades lighter than it had been before.

Noah's appeared to be only slightly altered by the venom, though that in no way meant things weren't different.

He smelt and saw things that a normal human wouldn't dream of, he moved at an incredible pace and could carry things that would be impossible for him to before. Noah had also developed a gift, one that wasn't much of a shock to any of the Cullen's, though they were awed by it.

Noah had always been the flower boy, caring for plants since he was a child so it was only natural he took it with him into his immortal life.

Noah had the ability to grow and manipulate nature, a gift he immediately took advantage of, giving life back to dying flowers, and creating knew beautiful creations.

Though, with every good, their exists one bad, and Noah definitely had his negatives.

Overall Noah had never wished for immortality. The brown haired boy had always enjoyed the thought that one day he would die, so the thought that he was already (mostly) dead, bothered him to no extent.

Then there was the major issue. Noah's insatiable need for blood. The newborns desire for the substance made it extremely hard to be around his sister, or any human for that matter. It also didn't help that animal blood had a particularly negative effect on the boy, so the vampire could only consume blood from humans. Of course Carlisle had immediately stocked up on blood bags when he realized Noah's problem, but there was nothing anyone could do.

Noah was like a wilting flower that no one knew how to save.
